Loanee settling in at Prenton Park

According to Tranmere Rovers manager Les Parry, Jose Baxter (in on loan from Everton) is having a greater impact with every game he plays.

Parry said: ?The other night at Accrington, Jose was looking sharp because he was getting on the ball. We have been doing a lot of work on him finding space and us finding Jose. That is starting to pay off.

?Each game he plays he's been a little more effective and I think he is enjoying it more.

?He is fulfilling the promise we saw in him but I was always confident he would do well for us because I have seen him play often enough.?

Baxter proved the point today, setting up Tranmere's goal in their 1-1 draw at league leaders Charlton Athletic.
