Testimonial announced v AEK Athens
Everton have announced a testimonial for loyal servant Tony Hibbert.

The stalwart full-back's 10 years of first-team service will be marked when AEK Athens visit Goodison Park on August 8 as part of the Blues' pre-season schedule.

And for fans, there will surely be no better chance to see the defender finally score!

Born on Merseyside, Hibbert joined his beloved Everton at youth level and was a member of the Toffees' 1998 FA Youth Cup-winning side.

He went on to make his full debut in March 2001 as Everton defeated West Ham 2-0 at Upton Park and last season surpassed a personal milestone of 300 appearances for the Club.

The only previous meetings with AEK Athens came that during the Europa League group stage in the 2009-10 season.

A 4-0 win at Goodison was followed by a 1-0 victory in Greece — a game in which Hibbert made his 18th European appearance and thus equalled a Club record.
