I read today that Steven is using his own money this Christmas to help the homeless in Liverpool. Good for him.
At least he is using some of his own money to help the less fortunate in our community. Sure, other players are doing some similar but at least we know he is a good guy.
Well done, Steven.

With the obscene wages footballers earn today, I doubt there'll be a need for a Former Players Foundation in the future. And if the likes of Ronaldo ever do fall on hard times, and you see him pan handling outside the Trafford Centre in 20 years, it'd be hard to feel sorry for him.
All that money and whilst there's some who provide millions to charities in Africa (one example, Drogba), there's others who'll wrap a brand new Lambo against a tunnel wall and just leave it and replace it (Ronaldo).

Silly playground comment and nowhere near the faintest glimmer of hope. Pull your short kecks up, soft lad!

Pienaar is a set-up man, granted, but his goal tally is down from last season and previous seasons he's been with us. If memory serves me correctly, he scored 7 in 2009-10, his last full season with us, and 4 in the second half of last year.
Regardless of goals, Naismith isn't first team quality at the moment but Al makes a valid point: he has goals in him, perhaps more so than our starters. He doesn't appear to have the skill to start but if he can net a few coming off the bench, he's not useless.
I don't think talking down to people qualifies as forum abuse but Al made a discussion-worthy point and that comment ruined the discussion.
