Mirallas and Gibson miss out

Darron Gibson will again be missing from the Everton squad this weekend as he continues his recovery from a thigh tendon problem.

David Moyes confirmed his absence in today's press conference before tomorrow's clash with Reading.

The Irishman is joined in the sidelines by Kevin Mirallas who suffered a hamstring injury last weekend against Sunderland.

Moyes suggested that he wasn't sure how long the Belgian midfielder would be out, except to say that the injury wasn't as serious as first feared.

Hopefully we have Mirallas back for the Arsenal game at the very least. The Gibson scenario is worrying as he has been out for over 8 weeks now. It appears to be slow progress but if that is what it take to get him back to full fitness so can remain unbeaten with him in our team (WBA did not count) then I will be pleased.

It sure is frustrating waiting for Gibbo to get fit again. Yet another game missed, sigh.

3 months out injured for just kicking a ball is beyond a joke as influential as Gibson has been if he can't get fit and stay fit then he should be out the door.

That Belgian Mirallas can get lost as well. Misses chances and gets injured far too easy. Waster.

Yeah, that injury Giggs picked up while shagging Danni Behr should have seen him through the exit door quicker than you could say His 'n' Hers by Pulp.

Our physio should just slap these boys about the face, tell them to buck up, and send them back out on the pitch. Work shy fops!
