Mucha's driving-ban mix up

Jan Mucha has been ordered to complete 250 hours of community service after being caught on the roads driving while banned.

The lawyer defending the Slovakian goalkeeper in magistrates court asserted that Mucha had miscalculated the end of his driving ban by 19 days and was not aware that he was still ineligible to drive his Audi Q7.

Mucha claimed to police that the mix-up was because he passes all his mail on to Everton FC to read and sort on his behalf.

He pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and driving without insurance, was banned from driving for a further six months and ordered to pay £85 court costs with a £60 victim surcharge.

He should do another 250 hours of community service for the way he played against Wigan. Maybe 250 hours of practicing collecting crosses under pressure would do him more good.

Peter, the article is about Mucha, not our other goalie. I did not see him do much wrong in either that game or the one before

Mucha didn't do a thing wrong against Wigan.

The first goal was the defenders job to stop, the second was a one and one great finish and the third, no keeper in the world would have seen it as there were three players blocking his view.

Harsh to blame him for the sake of it!

I can't see us bouncing back with him in goal.

Mucha was not at fault in the Wigan game.
Of more concern is that Osman will first on the team sheet against City.

Stand up longer for the 2nd or stay on your line....and that was the killer goal. Obviously more Neville's, and by picking the twat, Moyes' fault, but I'll be a surprised and happy man if Jan keeps the back door shut over the next month.

We'll 'bounce back' regardless, though. Can't wait!

Peter Fearon take it you don't go to the game or you wouldn't be having a pop at Jan Mucha, not saying he's the best in the world but he's had to sit on his arse for most of his time here so this run in the team will do him the world of good.

I've actually seen him driving a few times and must admit the extra ban will keep the roads safer for a while longer!

Overpaid, lazy, arrogant along with likes ofTevez, Balotelli - no concerns whatsoever, the club will bail them out. Here for 4 years and cant even bloody speak or read the language - stick him on the next bus home .

Are these guys so inadequate at dealing with the day to day things in life that they have to get the Club 'to wipe the song from their noses'?
Utter bankers most of them!

Mike, lazy possibly but you're jumping the gun with him not being able to read or speak the language are you not? And would the bus home be punishment for this sin or just because you don't rate him?

And I don't know what Peter's on about.

He thought he was banned from diving which is why he made no feckin attempt to save any shots on target......!
