The Echo has uncovered a survey that shows Everton have the best stewards. An independent survey carried out with matchgoers at every football ground in the Premier League saw the Blues come out on top for their exemplary stewarding services.

The highlights of the Premier League Fan Survey include:

  • 75% felt ‘very positive' towards the club, compared to a 54% average across the Premier League. 84% of fans believe that the club is ‘well-run'.
  • Goodison Park was rated as one of the top four most welcoming stadiums in the top flight.
  • The people working in and around the club were highly rated by match attendees.
Supporters also provided feedback on the areas they felt the Blues needed to develop including the cleanliness in and around Goodison Park, sightlines and the length of queues whilst inside the stadium.

Does this count as a trophy for Moyes?

I think they should prove it by ejecting a matronly figure with a purple rinse from the chairman's seat in the directors box.

So THIS is why the club has slapped on such a high price tag...it makes sense now!

84% of fans believe that the club is ‘well-run'.
84% of fans are clueless!

Best stewards — you're fuckin joking.

My mate is a steward who spends all the match trying to talk to me, while the other steward tries his best to stand in my way all game.

Who conducted this "independent" survey? Nobody named by the idiotic Echo.

Michael, Lyndon, are we expected to believe this rubbish?

On what basis do you draw our attention to this?

There is no link to any proven story. There is no such thing as "Premier League Fan Survey." Forgive my cynicism, but this stinks..

How many times did BK, Elstone and the rest of his cronies vote? 84% think we are well run?! If we are well run Blackburn must be the model way to run a football club.

Absolute rubbish.

From the official Website : -

With 33,640 football fans taking part in the research nationwide – including 1,260 Evertonians – the Premier League Fan Survey helps gain an understanding of attitudes towards the matchday experience, stadium safety, ticketing facilities and customer service.

The clubs says that • An overwhelming 99 per cent of Evertonians said they felt positive towards the Club, exceeding the average across the top-flight and recording a marked increase on the score of 55 per cent last season.

I don't know who or where this survey took place, but imagine that you'd be hard pressed to get a better result if we had just won the League the CL, The FA Cup and League Cup by beating the RS in the Final of all the Cup competitions and relegating the same in the final game of the season.

I remember this survey some months ago; I filled it out (did not win the prize though). Like a lot of posts these days, if it does not fit your argument, rubbish it.

It's just another way to reinforce the important message that those keyboard warrior bullies who have been hounding good folk like Dave Prentice and other "in-depth" journalists with the esteemed organ are way off base and signing from the wrong, unsanctioned hymn-sheet.

Just sayin...

Great stewards, as long as you don't mention the French.

Do we get a trophy for having the best stewards? — because that's the only trophy we will win under Moyes.

I think the result of this article should be a warm applause for our stewards, it's nice to have positive news associated with the club. It's not all doom and gloom.
