Everton's U21 side were hammered 5-0 by West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns this afternoon.

Alan Stubbs's side started well and Conor McAleny went close with a couple of early efforts but once they had conceded against the run of play, they could not prevent the floodgates from opening.

Second-half substitute George Green had a header that hit the bar near the end.

Everton U21s: Taudul; McLaughlin, Touray, Lundstram, Pennington; Graham (58' Langton), Kennedy, Williams; Hope (63' Green) , McAleny, Grant (51' Long).
Subst not Used: Hewelt, Charsley.
