Kevin Mirallas played virtually all of Belgium's 1-0 win over South Korea which ensured that the Red Devils topped Group H, setting up a clash with Tim Howard and the USA in the round of 16 next Tuesday.

The Belgians were on six points going into the final games in Group H and could only have finished second in the group had they lost and Algeria won.

Having only played the last quarter of an hour of the win over Russia and hit the post with a direct free kick, this was Mirallas' first start of the 2014 World Cup and it gave him a chance to press claims for more involvement in the knockout stages.

Romelu Lukaku, who had to apologize for his reaction to being substituted for a second time against Russia, drops back to the bench.

Belgium prevailed over South Korea thanks to Jan Vertonghen's goal and despite playing the second half with 10 men after Steven Defour was sent off for leaving his studs in on an opponent.

Algeria's draw with Russia ensured that the North African side advanced as the group runners up and they will face Germany next.
