I've been saying for weeks now (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) Awe another shit performance, and Awe another defeat!

A very well written piece that catalogues this season's travails well but attaches no blame whatsoever for 'the car crash' on Martinez.

It's all down to ill luck, injuries and poor refereeing decisions, apparently. And those who 'can do without' his hero, Everton could 'do without', he says.

I heard echoes of Richard Dodd and his obsession with Moyes whilst reading this blog and realised how much some of us miss the Fool of Freshfield. Perhaps Ed could fill the gap for all those our club 'could do without'- even if some of us can spot a wind up merchant a mile away let alone 5,000 !
