Snodin: Players know this is not good enough

Writing in the Echo, Ian Snodin dismisses suggestions that Saturday's 2-2 draw was the result of a European hangover and asserts that the players will be desperate to put it right.

For an article in the Echo, that was fairly realistic. He did dodge the Howard bullet though.

If Howard and Lukaku had srayed in bed we might have won 4-0.

The players have been desperate to "put it right all season, so far they haven't. They are better saying nothing and let their feet do the talking, or in Howard's case his hands.

Let me look into my crystal ball......mmm.......I predict a win tomorrow for Everton, followed by a defeat on Sunday away to Arsenal, and next week we'll have our monthly comment from players saying 'its not good enough, we need to try harder'!

I think, this is now the 6th time this season I've heard some player saying 'we need to try harder'.
