Junior Fan Day

Everton will celebrate their youngest generation of supporters this Saturday with the return of the popular Junior Fan Day.

The home game against Southampton is dedicated entirely to young Blues and will see Goodison taken over by a mini team of helpers – spanning from the press box to the pitch!

In the dugout Radio City's Rossie will be sharing the mic with his very own mini stadium announcer, whilst the hosts in the corporate lounges will receive a helping hand from a junior MC, who will even have the important task of introducing the Everton man of the match.

The Goodison ground staff will be joined by a lucky young fan who will help prepare the pitch for action, and there will be an extra pair of eyes in the matchday control room as a mini stadium safety officer shadows the safety team.

Meanwhile in the press box, a budding commentator will take a seat next to Ian Snodin during the match to help broadcast the action to thousands of Evertonians worldwide, and a mini Sky Sports News reporter will be helping to interview the rest of the mini-matchday team!

The lucky group have been selected as winners of a competition that invited Evertonians aged 7-15 to be a part of Junior Fan Day.

The special day gives young fans the chance to see behind-the-scenes at Goodison Park – but for those not taking up a role in the mini matchday team, there's plenty of fun activities planned in the build-up to kick-off.

Local band Ambition will be performing in the Fan Zone, whilst football freestylers, face painters, Match Attax tournaments and the EA Sports dugout will also be on hand to keep junior Blues entertained – as well as the chance to try out aqua zorbing!

Fans can also pick up a special souvenir from the day with player masks, poster books, and blue noses being handed out around the stadium before the game. There's also a limited number of free Easter cupcakes available from the kiosks inside the ground for young supporters, and 500 free ice creams to be given away in the Fan Zone.
