Over 250 Evertonians donned their blue shirts and took to the streets of Liverpool on Saturday (22nd August) to take on Changy’s Challenge for the chance to win some brilliant Everton prizes.

In celebration of the launch of the 2015/2016 kits, Changy hid parts of the kit in three locations around the city centre and challenged fans to track them down. Despite skies being grey, fans boldly hunted from the Everton Two store to Quay Confectionery at Albert Dock to celebrate the Everton mint, to the Cavern Club, home of the Mersey beat, and concluded at Radio City.

Many fans were treated to activities along the way, including facepainting, beat the goalie challenge and also learnt new football skills, as well as having the chance to meet Everton legends Ian Snodin and Changy!

Once fans collected the shirts, shorts and socks on their game card, they headed back to Everton Two store to choose their prize at random.

The big winner of the day was James O Neill, 11, who got his hands on VIP hospitality tickets to watch Everton vs. Liverpool on Sunday 4th October and an exclusive meet and greet with the Everton Squad at Finch Farm.

James, from Croxteth, said: “As soon as I heard about this I wanted to take on Changy’s Challenge. I brought along my Nan to help me hunt through the city.

James was a worthy winner of the prize, with his Nan bringing him into the store to treat him after achieving grade 6 in his recent SATs exams.

“I couldn’t believe it when I pulled out first prize! I can’t wait to meet the players!”

The first 25 participants back to store also won an extra prize, Michelle, from Liverpool said: “We had a great time! We won an Everton away shirt a bundle and tickets to the Everton vs. Manchester City match!

No one left empty handed with 2015/16 Home and Away shirts, exclusive 3rd shirts before general release and loads of other Everton goodies on offer for hunters.

The 2015-16 Home and Away kit is available to purchase now in store at Everton One, Two and online at evertondirect.com. Fans can still pre-order the 2015-16 3rd shirt (on sale 26 August 2015) at both stores and online.
