Leeds Utd U21s 1 - 1 Everton U21s

Everton U21s took home a point from their visit to the Leeds Utd Academy on Monday night in Premier League 2.

Katia Kouyate got the first goal of the game when he drove his way to the byeline and squeezed in a fine finish from the narrowest of angles.

Not to be outdone, the home side scored a similar goal just before the break, and that's how it stayed to the end.

Kingsford Boyake came off the bench for only his second appearance since joining the Blues 2 months ago.

Thanks for highlighting Kingsford's appearance, MK. Only just got around to reading this report but now I can finally stop wondering about his fate.

I know covering the women's team has never taken off on TW, but how about a ‘shout out' for the youngest-ever scorer in the WSL, 16-year-old lifetime Everton fan Issy Hobson who came on to equalise for Everton against title-chasing Arsenal?

We all like to celebrate when one of our own gets to live the dream and create a bit of sporting history wearing the Everton shirt, don't we? Apologies if this has been covered and I just haven't noticed it yet.
