Si Cooper 16 Posted 19/08/2023 at 01:44:36 The automatic assumption that any rumour of interest in a player that isn't already considered an out-and-out striker means we aren't looking for one is fairly juvenile.We don't need more wingers if they are no better than what we already have (and are retaining) but it would be ludicrous to not take every opportunity to improve the team we can field even if the plan is a longer term strategy.I'm not necessarily advocating this player (who I know nowt about) but he could be an ace provider or fantastic at forming a partnership with his full-back that gets the best out of both. If either were true I'd be happy to have him.
