Crucial wins for Cardiff, Southampton, Brighton and Bournemouth, with Spurs one of the casualties again as they seem destined to be pushed down to 4th at some point by a resurgent Man Utd, who play on Sunday.
But Saturday continues with Man City unable to score in the first half against Watford....

And the ball is played onto Sterling by the defender, then goes in the goal? I think it was a correct decision. But I'd be mad if I was a Watford fan.

From now on City become the priority not Everton.
We have just kissed goodbye to a top half finish this season now anyway, fantastic reward for all the money spent on players and the headhunting of snake oil salesman Silva.
Hassenhutl has transformed Southampton instantly, a team looking doomed for relegation before Christmas to now just 7 points behind Everton and Newcastle, three points behind us another team that looked fuckin shot two months ago.
The Premier League campaign of 2018-19 has progressed but Everton have greatly regressed week by week.
That just about sums it up.

A good manager and a good all-round goalkeeper, makes you think and look on with envy!!!

I said I wouldn't put a penny on us to finish above them and was shouted down by the usual experts.

I know in practice they can't control everyone, which is why the punishment of the individual must be as severe as possible. But even the stupidest of fans must know there can be nothing but total and fully disproportionate retribution for doing something like this.

I vaguely remember a Birmingham fan coming over the wall and getting right in the goalie's face after he made a cock-up.

I missed the Arsenal - Man Utd one... Three cases of this just this weekend, apparently! (per 606)

Nearest I've seen to Gascoigne, a brilliant footballer and he has shown the mettle to match it. Everton should have kids like him, not shit mercenaries.

Grealish is a rare talent.
We have probably brought through one rare talent since Rooney, that being Barkley (who has all the attributes needed but doesn't use them well).
If you are looking at the best player brought through the ranks that has given Everton something back, then you can't look further than Leon Osman, a very underrated but naturally gifted footballer than was always good for a goal or creator of one.

Nothing to lose, so be brave, Marco, and we will all raise a glass in the memory of your legacy of at least unearthing one star before you go in May (probably before).
