Michael, As long as Liverpool don't win the league, everyone's fine with it.

Well, City finally scored just after the break... or did they. If Aguero is ahead of the defenders when he plays the ball toward Sterling, is Sterling offside?

And the ball is played onto Sterling by the defender, then goes in the goal? I think it was a correct decision. But I'd be mad if I was a Watford fan.

And now a Sterling hat-trick!

It is off for sure and the flag should go up because Sterling is attracting the defender to the ball by attempting to play it. But who cares? — the RS have had plenty.

Well in City!

From now on City become the priority not Everton.

We have just kissed goodbye to a top half finish this season now anyway, fantastic reward for all the money spent on players and the headhunting of snake oil salesman Silva.

Hassenhutl has transformed Southampton instantly, a team looking doomed for relegation before Christmas to now just 7 points behind Everton and Newcastle, three points behind us another team that looked fuckin shot two months ago.

The Premier League campaign of 2018-19 has progressed but Everton have greatly regressed week by week.

That just about sums it up.

Look at Wolves go, how can they be ahead of Everton, in everyway.

Joe (6), Wolves are doing well with a very good manager, up to now, and today with a great performance from a very competent goalkeeper, a very good draw at Chelsea, who equalised with an in-off-the-post effort with practically the last shot of the game.

A good manager and a good all-round goalkeeper, makes you think and look on with envy!!!

Wheres the smart money for Arsenal v Man Utd? I generally like a little interest when there's a match on not involving us, but I couldn't call this.

If the rs win the league; Speroni, Heaton and Pickford should all get winners medals as well. Seven gifted goals and nine points between the three of them.

I said before a ball was kicked this season that Wolves were the best team to come up for years.

I said I wouldn't put a penny on us to finish above them and was shouted down by the usual experts.

Man Utd for me, Darren. Good players that now have a sense of purpose a genuinely positive and tactically shrewd manager gives you.

As for that utter Brummie twat... throw the book at him. A prison sentence, and a 10-point deduction for Birmingham City — just to put firmly in the field of the clubs their full responsibility for controlling their fans.

I know in practice they can't control everyone, which is why the punishment of the individual must be as severe as possible. But even the stupidest of fans must know there can be nothing but total and fully disproportionate retribution for doing something like this.

I'm pretty sure that fixture has previous, Michael.

I vaguely remember a Birmingham fan coming over the wall and getting right in the goalie's face after he made a cock-up.

Every club has them, remember the Everton fan holding a baby punching a opposition player.

Never a penalty for Arsenal. That should surely be a retrospective ban for simulation? Oh, sorry, Sky club – doesn't count.

Michael - I think when a Sky Club plays a Sky Club, your argument doesn't hold!

Joe @15, that idiotic Blue got 8 weeks, as I recall... Did he serve it, I wonder?

I missed the Arsenal - Man Utd one... Three cases of this just this weekend, apparently! (per 606)

The kid Grealish at Villa has some temperament, does he not? Derby tried to kick him off the park midweek and he ran the game and scored the goal of this season. Today, well we have all seen it, an absolute disgrace, but he kept his nerve and scored the winner.

Nearest I've seen to Gascoigne, a brilliant footballer and he has shown the mettle to match it. Everton should have kids like him, not shit mercenaries.

Grealish is a rare talent.

We have probably brought through one rare talent since Rooney, that being Barkley (who has all the attributes needed but doesn't use them well).

If you are looking at the best player brought through the ranks that has given Everton something back, then you can't look further than Leon Osman, a very underrated but naturally gifted footballer than was always good for a goal or creator of one.

We have a young goalie who, despite his age, commands his area... so get him in. Plus we have at least two strikers in the Under-23s who are an upgrade on Tosun, Walcott etc.

Nothing to lose, so be brave, Marco, and we will all raise a glass in the memory of your legacy of at least unearthing one star before you go in May (probably before).
