Just seen Tranmere get through to the League Two playoffs at Wembley.

Cracking pictures of Mike Dean, Premier League referee and Tranmere supporter, standing on the crowd barriers shouting his head off. Most unbecoming!

No, he wasn't refereeing it.

Brent #57, you mean Mike Dean is unbecoming, or a ref cheering at a match is unbecoming?

I agree with the first (he's weird looking) but not the second. Everybody's entitled to be a crazed fan. Even refs.

Watched the game myself Brent, which as a game of football, resembled the curate's egg, (good in parts) but the result was good for Tranmere.

I remember back in the 90's Tranmere were regularly in the running for promotion to the then 1st Division, but never quite made it, so good luck at Wembley.

Tranmere was my grandad's team, he passed away on his way home from the match on the 17th January 1970 after watching his team draw with Walsall nil-nil.

I go to watch them whenever Everton's home fixtures allow. I was at the play-off game at Prenton Park when they beat Forest Green, and I am delighted they have made it to the play-off final. I know grandad would have been delighted to see them at Wembley.
