The match report from the Spurs WWW page.

Limpar was off due to a flu.

Ebbrell missed a good chance after 3 mins shooting wide after good work from Samways..

Klinnsman's first goal was a volley or overhead kick depending on which report you read.

Dumitrescu had a shot tipped onto the bar by Southall.

Klinnsmann's second came after the ball had been headed on twice in the area..

The penalty given against Unsworth was a harsh decision, the ball apparently hitting his arm. Unsworth wasn't booked for it. Klinnsman declined the chance to take the pen, Sheringham sent Southall the wrong way but put the ball over the bar.

Everton pulled one back after 32 seconds of the second half,Rideout beating Walker to a cross from Stuart and sliding the ball into the corner.

We missed a few chances in the second half, the closest we came to an equaliser was when a shot from Jackson, hit Edinburgh on the line and the ball somehow looped over the bar.

There was a booking for John Ebbrell and also a Spurs player, dunno who..
