Everton's FA Cup Third Round tie against Crystal Palace has been scheduled for a Thursday evening to allow for live broadcast on ITV4.

The match will kick off at Selhurst Park at 8 pm on 4 January.

According to Matt Hughes of the Daily Mail, the match was brought forward at the request of Metropolitan Police who would have had 10 cup matches in the Capital to manage over that weekend if some of the games weren't moved.

Tottenham's home tie with Burnley has been scheduled for the night of Friday 5 January.
