All the best to the Blues, from Nürnberg
Hello to the great supporters from everton, i was so happy and for sure a little bit proud about all the positiv letters from the everton fans. double double thank you back to you folks!!!!We have also a great time with you!!!everton is a great club with fantastic fans!!!!!Very Good people!!!I think both clubs have similar roots and history....very successful in the past, 9 times champions... but in the last years... more pain than glory!!! But we stand everytime to our teams, whatever happen!!! Tradition rules!!!! Not russian oil!!!!
We have a lot of fun together and for sure too much beers.:-) thats the way it is!!!Yes!!! I hope we will have the chance in the future (o.k we need a lot of luck) to play someday in your city. Many "Clubberer" hope that so much!!! Believe me!!! Thanks for being our great guest!!! The pubs miss you!:-)
ps: by the end... the Germans are very happy that the relationship between England and Germany getting so much better now. It starts last year at the World Cup... the most English come the first time to our country (normaly before we meet you only in Southern Europe :-) ) and saw, hey the Germans are party animals like we are, friendly, ironical and not cold hearts!!!
No nazi-bullshit, German tanks bla bla! Normal people!!! Like the same music and the same ladies!!! I think the Germans and the English are the most similar people in europe... the Germans knows it and like the English way since many years ago now (but the English media coverage make a secret out of it) .. but now i think the English starts to see this like we are!!! Okay you don´t like the sauerkraut and blutwurst, but you saw the most Germans don´t like it too! :-)
The Nürnberg fans hope to see the great supporters from Everton soon again!!! Thanks for all and see you folks!!! 1.FCN Greetings from LUZI
(Sorry for my English, my German is better)

I am a Blue who was at the game (and travelled 7,000 miles from Singapore) but happen to work in Asia for a Nurnberg company who I think you may know, GfK. We had a great time together at the game with our work colleagues and funnily enough some of the discussion was very similar to your points : EFC and 1FCN being ?real clubs? and the fact that the English and Germans have more in common than often they dare admit. Great night, good luck to 1FCN in the UEFA and the Bundesliga and we would very much like to return the hospitality one day.
Hoffentlich sehen sie sich bald wieder (or something like that)
Andy Drake
Hatte solch eine gute Zeit mit Nürnberg.
Das ganze Beste für die Zukunft.
Thanks for your kind words and 3 points!
;-)
Had an ace time in Nurnberg and wish you all the best for the future of 1FCN - a proper club with a proper support!
Ich denke auch, dass Everton und Nuernberg beide Tradtionsvereins sind. Vielleicht gibt’s eine Moeglichkeit fuer ein Fansfreundschaft, wie ihr schon mit Schalke habt?
James.
I was lucky enough to spend 3-4 years in your fantastic country in the late 70’s-ealrly 80’s. I worked in Erlangan and Eschenau for a while and used to get on the ale in Nurnberg. The only thing I couldn’t handle was your Frankenplat.
Best of luck to you and your team.
Bet fan sites for those fellas across the park and in Manchester, don?t get mails like this. Death threats maybe, but not warm messages of support from other European fans.
Thanks Luzi, and thanks to everyone who went and did us proud. God i wish I could get time off for the Amsterdam trip!
You have a great City, with great people. The many fans of nuremberg I met are a real credit to your Team and city. I spent three days in all in nuremberg and rather enjoyed the blutwurst but not the sauerkraut so much! :-)
Good luck to FCN Nuremberg and I hope we meet again soon.
Anyone got Platini’s email address?
Hopefully we’ll have the opportunity to have you over to ours next year when we’re both in the Champions League!
If you need a win to stay up on the last day of the season, a few of us might be over.
When the draw was made I couldn’t believe we got Nurenberg I had been there for the world cup and was telling everyone what a great city Nurenberg is, even the girls in the red light district were a different class, no serious the memories of this trip will live with me forever, the square full of blues, the train going to the game, the beer village by the ground what can I say about that, the karoke bar open until 5am and the police who found my hotel for me. But my warmest memory is the way the people of Germany treated us including the police, I think Police forces around the world can take lessons of how to treat people different class.
Hopefully Luzi, our two clubs can arrange a friendly during the Summer and that we could welcome you as well as your city welcomed our fans.
All the best for the rest of the season.
We had a fabulous trip, great hospitality from everyone we met.
Great city, welcoming atmosphere and plenty og singing and drinking. Couldn’t really ask for more.
The attitude from the police has really restored my faith in trips abroad following the mighty blues.
Your comments are greatly appreciated.
Keep the faith !!!
Best Wishes to all Nuremburg fans and their families as we approach the festive season.
My english..haijaijai!!!:-)
As to your question, sorry i´m not the godfather of linguistic, the only what i know is,that our local dialect (bavarian and franconian) have a lot of links to the english/american language. about your local dialect,i´m not sure but i thought i heard something about similar words from north german dialect(especially area of bermen) and english. but sorry,my home is the south!:-)
greetings and good luck for the next matches
Respect for your perfect german!!! you live/ lived in germany or?
Ich mach gleich mal Werbung in Nürnberg for EFC!!!
fanfriendschip sounds very good!
Respect for the perfect words :-)
And as for Germans and English people being similair, i couldn’t agree more. It makes me cringe when you get these big fat english fans abroad slateing germans, just because its what "english people do", who just simply dont understand your culture and people. If im been totally honest, during last years world cup i really wanted you to win it (everton fans generally care very little for england football team), the way you played with passion and desire compared to England self proclaimed "golden generation" summed up your country.
All the best for the season and i really hope we do meet again soon (pre season friendly maybee...?)
Supporting anyone else is like decidiing to support Man Utd "because they win things".
