Don’t know what it is, but I’m getting this funny urge, to go out line dancing!

Even worse than the tacky "It's a grand old team to play for" version they blast out over the speakers at Goodison.

Fair play to the writers for trying though, we need some new terrace chants!

I can't even believe the club are trying gauge reaction. Someone needs to tell the musicians that we now live in the 21st century.

Pathetic! As Mr Cowell would say.

I’m damning them with faint praise, but I’m glad they tried. And the OS should be trying to encourage more of this. Who knows, one of these a week and a gem might pop out.

Sorry lads - this isn’t it. But learn, try again, get better, and give us something we can all get behind and join in with.

Pretty terrible really.

Would cringe every time I heard it on the radio. (Billy Butler would insist it was played every effing day ffs!)

I think it?s alright actually!

Pretty harsh comments above. Pleased to see some boys putting their love of the club into music and wish them the best.

I will even put this on my iPod.

I'm sorry but that sounds like something the hillbilly inbreds from across the park would like strumming their banjos too!

Just because its a ?blue? song doesn?t make it a good one!

How about on of the old ones like Blue Suede Shoes, we can pretend that was written by a True Blue as well!!

So long as they dont change the ?Z-cars' theme, I dont mind what they sing... Our theme is the most stirring of any and I'm sure it must buck the players up as they head down the tunnel.

Doesn’t really mention Everton... ’Story of the Blues’ by the Mighty Wah is much better writing if you’re using oblique references.

Chorus is catchy but annoying... the ’Johnny Cash’ style is a bit dated and won’t be to everyone’s taste (As illustrated above).

If I was Simon Cowell, I’d tell you not to give up your day job.

Catchy chorus but who told the lead singer he could sing!! His Mother? Sounds like something Ringo Starr would sing but he?s a Red!!

Give me 'Z-cars' every time.

If we continue withy this hoof-ball malarky, we could just adopt the Johnny Cash original.

I always thought fans shouting the lyrics to The Proclaimers ?Im gonna be? would be magic. Expresses what being a true fan is all about. Expresses the attitude we expect of the players, manager & chairman . Would be a great lift if the game wasnt going our way.

Altogether now... "I would walk 500 miles, and I would walk 500 more, just to BE the man who walked 1000 MILES to fall down at your door....." And again!

What about some songs for the new boys? Fellaini & Saha don't appear to have any songs.

I thought this may be good for Mar (to the tune of Volaire)

"Fellaini, woooh oooh oooh ahh, Fellaini woooh oooh ahh.
He comes from Belg-ium, He has hair like your Mum"

Any better suggestions that we can use on the 7th?

Excecrable - and the OS wouldn?t print that comment. More in a long line of garbage stretching back though "No other team" and the re-write of Bad Moon Rising in the mid-1990s.

Not a fan of this and as an American I should have some sort of deep seated love for sounds like that. It is good that some Evertonians are realizing the dire need for some new songs and chants though.
