I?m listening on the radio, but we sound a bit better today.

I think we need to stick with a five-man midfield (Cahill off the striker) until we have more balance with a bank of four.

Huge chance for Saha. His header should have hit the back of the net. Best chance of the match so far.

Half-time:

Spurs 0 Everton 0.

An even match with Saha having the best chance. Fellaini playing well.

No surprise that we are playing better when we are 4-5-1 with Cahill in his true position and movement from Pienaar and Osman and Arteta. Shame Louis couldn’t convert because Spurs are there for the taking if we can stay strong at the back - yet again we actually play a bit of football. If only we got the ball down a little more. I hate seeing Yobo and co lump it straight and long. Fellaini having a better match and I still say that with one good central midfield signing, and perhaps Obinna on loan, we can push for the UEFA place again. That said, we might well lose 3-0 and it’ll all be doom and gloom! Find some cash BK.

Sopcast channel 6029 is working a treat, great feed no glitches at all - how did Saha miss that free header?!?!

The Yak twisted his knee after about 15 mins by the way and Saha came on for him. Louis’ playing quite well, looks lively; our midfield is looking half decent today, Pienaar makes such a difference its untrue!

Fellaini’s hair has got way bigger as well.

Gutted we aren’t consistent - this is a very average league in terms of the quality of teams (not individuals) - we should be 4th at least.

Yeah but Chris, everyone is playing to a similar standard and we’re above them all apart from Hull & Villa - give it time, we’ll finish in the top 6 I reckon.

Great performance today, not an easy place to win and we defended brilliantly when we needed to and played some nice stuff of our own at times.

We’ll be OK this season, though we might struggle a bit if the Yak & Saha are both out with Vaughan now.

On the very stuttery laptops.blog stream it looked a most impressive performance.

Jags was King. Fellaini looked a different man (well, same hair) than he did on Monday. In fact, everyone looked solid. Jeez, did Spurs have a decent crack at net in the last 20 (6!?) minutes, the last ditch Campbell (I think) effort excepted?

I was dead wrong. I thought that we?d get hammered. Victor did well, Christ he almost scored twice. Very, very impressive against a tough opponent.
COYB!!!

Last week we were awful against Wigan and loads of us came on here and slagged the team off. So praise where praise is due and well done to the blues today for a much better performance. Arteta seemed rejuvinated. As much as people hate the negative vibe of 4-5-1 it suits us down to the ground.

Pienaar was back and we look much better with him in the side. As I said last week he gets us playing and you can tell Arteta is happier with him there.

Hard luck to the Yak, nobody likes getting injured, but we must admit he has been poor this year. One man?s misfortune is anothers gain and lets hope that Big Vic grabs the chance that this run of games will give him. Fellaini looked great today.

This is a bizarre season and it seems that anybody can beat anybody. I wished we played away every week.

On a final note I would like to see a few of the fans come on here and praise Moyes. The stick he got after last week was uncalled for. Constructive criticism is ok, but a few just come on here and string a load of swear words together. The man doesn?t deserve it. If last week was his fault, then let's praise him for this week's win.

Sure. Moyes has to deserve praise for the effort today. It was actually refreshing to hear him call the team out after Wigan. I was expecting him to offer the usual "well, we tried hard, but it just didn?t happen for us."

After such an abysmal showing, the onus must certainly reside with the manager to lift and focus the squad for the next match. Today looked like we played away for much of last season. Good on him.

One positive thing that you must say about the Moyes era at GP is that the side rarely turn in consecutive dogshit performances. Yeah, it may have happened a couple of times this year, but they?ve also shown a fair dollop of the battling spirit as well. And never more so than today.
