Buying Shares

This is kind of out of left field but if I wanted to buy a Share of Everton where would I go? Would I have to buy it from an existing Shareholder?

There are three ways I can think of... although I believe only one is sanctioned by the club. That is by contacting their brokers, Blankstone Sington Ltd. They're a bit coy about this but their primary role appears to have been maintaining a false share price that seems to have valued the club at something like twice its real value. Anyone know what BS are currently pushing as the SRP?

The second way is to somehow find a shareholder who wants to sell, and negotiate a price directly with him. Of course, he's unlikely to want to let it go for less that the BS price... but ya never know your luck. Why not try submitting a request to our Bulletin Board?

As for the third way... well, there's this bloke I know... and I can put you in touch with him if you like... But you'll need a bunch of them yankee dollars of yours...

Justin,

You could buy the whole kit and kaboodle for about £70m ($120m or so) How are you fixed?

I do hope you’re the stalking horse we’ve all been waiting for!

Justin,

If, perchance, Dave Roberts has got you sussed, and you’re after buying the Club, I’d suggest you wait a couple of weeks, when the exchange rates will mean that you can pull together the required £70M or so for the equivalent of $32.55.

How many of my Yankee Dollars would I need to part with for a share of stock?

Price has always been somewhere around £2000 a share in recent times, but it sounds like it may have dropped recently.

A good time for you to buy Justin with the current exchange rate, but most people only hold them for sentimental reasons, not to make any serious money. Most people anyway!

Of course you are also then entitled to attend any AGM or EGM where your ’little voice’ along with countless other ’little voices’ will be outmuscled by 3 major shareholders wearing tin hats and telling you about the golden streets of Kirkby!

Are there any benefits to being a shareholder in relation to tickets etc?
