Odemwingie

Just seen on Skysports.com that were in talks with Lokomotiv Moscow over a loan deal for 27 year old Peter Odemwingie. It says he's a winger/striker and a Nigerian international, I have seen him play a few times and I know hes quick and also technical on the ball.
He stands at 5' 11" and in my opinion he would be a quality addition to Everton. However I could be wrong and he could be another AVDM but maybe some of ye will know more?

I have seen him play whilst watching Joey and the Yak and from what I have seen thus far he is well quick and direct, can play either wing and can beat a man, just what we need. Delivery didn't seem the best, bigger version of Aaron Lennon, I'd say; however, I feel he would be a useful squad addition.
On another note, the thing that really got to me whilst watching my beloved blues is the hoof ball tactic. I am very very happy to see we are actually starting to play a bit of late. We have the players to play good football and this is the only way we would start getting the crowd back at Goodison, also it would attract Sky to have more of our games on tv.
For those fans who wanted Mikel out, you don't understand football. Selling him would be a disaster, there is no way we would get a FOOTBALLER of his class for £2m. Every player goes through a bad spell and Mikel is over his... CREAM ALWAYS RISES TO THE TOP.
Well now the name Peter Odemwingie has been linked with us.........he’ll end up being snatched by another club with the dosh to buy him..Same old story, Moyes uncovers a bit of a gem for the "shitty" clubs to steal em away because they have the cash we lack!!!
Baaaah humbug *LOL*
Farhad , Evertonians had good reason to criticise Arteta as his bad spell lasted near on 18 months.
But in the last couple of months he has started to look the part once again maybe this is because he has been able to play in the middle.
Alan: I agree entirely with your comment. Arteta should always play through the middle. It’s a shame that it took Moyes such a long time to conclude that himself.
Does anyone have a link for todays games please?
Gary
Try one of the following: myp2p or iraqgoals or justintv or ustream
You’ll find it on one of those sites mate...
I agree too with Alan’s comment, our best approach would be to sort out the right flank and move arteta into the middle of the park.
We really need a good result today (not 1.0) and if we relax a bit in midfield and upfront and carry on like we are at the back we’ll get it.
Kevin, Thanks just searching,.

@ Gavin
a 1 nil would do me fine. Wins a win.
What is the obsession with Nigerians? Yobo, Yakubu, Anichebe....now Odemwingie and Obinna? Is Moyes trying to spell out a message to us? YYAOO, YAYOO, OYAYO?
