Totally Pointless

Good Gawd

I now there aint much to report on the "Official" Everton site at the mo, but do we really need a lead story like: "Ossie Goes Go-Karting" and "He takes Everton TV with him" ? what a generous bloke Leon is. Also read yesterday about how "Excited" Hibbo is about EFC getting linked with Big Name players....

Wow! What's next? "Yak and Vic go out on a tandem" ... "Pip goes shopping" (to Tesco's maybe)

Urrrrr, what drivel. Surely in the name of God there must be more interesting things to put on the site.

Or am I just totally mad?

No, me and few mates were saying the same thing yesterday. It’s just lame - rather say nothing on the site than pad it out with this sort of stuff.

FFS- someone please tell Hibbert what?s the use of being "linked" with them, as we NEVER sign them!

To be honest I didnt realise we had been linked with that many big names..
The only player who we have publically shown an interest in buying was Aaron Ramsey and that was hardly a big name move as such..
I suppose in many ways the Official site has to put some news on it because if there was nothing on there to read people would still complain anyway.

I feel Macca’s statement that he is a blue is just like a new signing!

Talking of Pip going shopping at Tesco’s, well I once saw Richard Wright at Tesco on Deysbrook Lane.

Perhaps they could put that on the website. It is out of date and irrelevant after all....!

Should we even be letting Ossie go go-karting? I find it very irresponsible given our lack of depth in midfield! It is quite a dangerous thing go-karting... taking a tumble in one of those things could put him out for weeks!

Next weeks headline of "The Yak does some knitting" would be far less concerning!

Well.... it's not like they can report on any signings! Or the ground move... or DM signing his contract.... or a new # 2....

What?s left for them to report on?
VDM goes on a pub crawl??

I can’t wait for our first signing so we can have something new and exciing to discuss. Hopefully it’ll be a player that everyone loves so we can all chat together like one big happy family again and stop all the in-fighting that happens on every other topic at the moment!

"Ossie goes go-karting" has been some light relief, but "Arshavin Signs" would be better! I can live in hope!

This is devastating news Marc... I was backing him for a 30 goal haul next season too!

At least he managed to make himself a nice blue cardigan to keep himself warm while he’s sitting on the bench eh?!

You beat me to it - I was going to post a similar comment re the go-karting. I allso wish EFC would stop getting me excited by the leaders such as "Future stars to be unveiled" making me think we have actually signed someone which we haven?t.... roll on one transfer at least - the tension is getting to me already!!!

Lee.
Riquelme was at L’pool airport.
He came to go carting with Ossie and give the Yak some tips on knitting.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates these stupid articles.

Macca is a blue, sort of, erm... sometimes ? GREAT!!!

Best comment I can remember is from oct 05 when we where in a right mess and the headline before one game was BENT TO ATTEMPT A SIEGE. Hmm, a one-man siege!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But Patty I agree, the FUTURE STARS UNVEILED is a shocker ? a load of 9 - 16 year olds looking like they are off on a club trip

I have to admit they are pointless articles alright.

I think someone at EFC loves American sports.

If you look at any website for an American sports team it's similar drivel. They are big into telling you every little detail of what the players get up to day to day.

I don?t think Moyes is the only one researching how the yanks do things HAHA!!

Tony, ADV goes on a pub crawl and takes Everton Tv with him. That would be awesome.

However the big news today is that Nev is to be reunited with a former team-mate in Tony Cook.

Now thats news, especially the bit where they say they used to share a room together and need a good catch up! I bet.

To be fair its better than some fat journo making up a transfer rumour........or do you prefer lies??

This is always a slow time for actual football news & a busy time for liars, sorry, tabloid journalists. Just one of them things.

Got a feeling things will pick up by the weekend though, transfer wise......

Quick question to the season ticket holders.

Have any of you received a renewal form in the post this morning.....even though you renewed already and paid for your season tickets months ago?

I know lots on here, me included, have a go at the Box Office etc, but slightly worrying that they would sent me a renewal form when they have already had £450 off me already.

They could be spending their time correcting all of the errors/amendments/lies in the Kirkby FAQ’s section of the website, but when I emailed Mr Ross about it a few weeks ago, he told me they were too busy with transfers, new stadiums, selling Bellefield and launching a new kit.

Seems like, now the kit has been done, and the others have stalled, they’re kicking their heels.
