Pascal Chimbonda

Just read a few websites today and aparantly Pascal Chimbonda says he would prefer a move to Goodison!! Than Sunderland or Newcastle... WATCH THIS SPACE!
As soon as he finds out what we will offer per week in wages, he will be in the northeast before you know it. He is not a bad right back but he is a player I can't see Moyes wanting around the camp and we have enough cover in Neville or Hibbert.

If we?re strapped for cash I think we need to concentrate all our resources on MF with Gosling, Neville and Hibbert (albeit injured) just about adequate for RB.
Although it may be that Moyes is planning a change in formation with 3 centre backs and Baines & Chimbonda as attacking wing backs with 3 centre MF and 2 upfront.
It still doesn't change the fact that Chimbonda has a reputation for not being a team player and we need more MF cover anyway.
Terry, we?re desperate for a right-back now that Davey sees Neville as the replacement for Carsley!
Alan Dean......If Moyes sees Neville as the replacement for Carsley, then we need a new Manager.
Can’t see what people see in Chimbonda to me he’s the new Anelka; always wanting to change teams when he gets bored, stuff that would rather have a player who wants to be here more than one season.
With problems in both full-back positions, I can see Moyes switching to three at the back with Neville just in front of them. At least we?ve got three good centre-halves and Neville is a more than competent midfielder whatever this mailbag likes to make out!
I agree that Moyes prefers Pip in a midfield role which means a full-back signing is priority. Gosling looked poor when playing for England U19s this week and I can?t see him figuring much next season. Far too much is made of the loss of Carsley who only had a role when we played one up front. In my view Chimbonda would be an excellent signing.... then anybody would after today?s disgrace!
