Mikel Arteta - Top Man

Just been watching yesterday's Sky Sports News update to catch up on what's been happening and about 2 minutes in it showed Mikel going round houses delivering fans' season tickets and then going into their houses to sign some stuff and have a chat. I thought I'd mention this to highlight the fact that he's a nice fella and to try and lift the doom and gloom off this place.

Also on the video Joleon Lescott talks about Moyes and transfers, saying that he was surprised nobody had come in yet but not worried, this was because he felt that there was quite a few clubs that haven't signed anyone yet and it goes on...

Good on Arty but just shows how desperate the PR boys must be to get some decent publcity in what is turning into a summer of horrors.
One or two decent signings would make Mikey redundant as a postman!

Exactly Sean, no cameras, no Arteta. Just the posty.
Nothing against Mikky doing it but jeez.... rather have Hibbert going go-karting once again or perhaps Neville going on a nature walk... or Howard installing a new water feature.

Apparently KW is delighted. 26p postage saved to be put towards a holding midfielder/bag of chips. What next, Peanuts visits B&Q?

It’s not that everything turns into a piss take of BK or KW, its just that everybody is sick to the back teeth of absolutely ridiculous ’stories’ on the main site, a site which is the responsibility of those who run the club.

It would be better to say nothing than to peddle this kind of tripe, especially when there are very serious issues which need to be discussed, the most important of which are a Plan B if the DK move collapsed, the lack of Moyes’ signiture on the bottom of a piece of paper, and the complete lack of investment in the playing staff this summer.

By the way, who are those people who add their inane comments at the end of articles on the main site? Thngs like ’I went go-karting once, really enjoyed it, good on you Ossie!’ What!!!!!
