So the mystery goalkeeper now says that he did train with us for all three days. Ian Ross said otherwise. I've got to say when I first heard he left after an hour I figured it kind of made sense. England wasn't what he expected and he got cold feet, it sounded normal for a young guy. Maybe he's just trying to save face now but he sounded pretty upset by the quotations. Who to believe?

He?s not coming, so what do we care?
And Mikael Forssell says he didn’t fail a medical...
Ravanelli wasnt that bothered either way
Maybe he heard about Kirkby...
You have to believe the club, I mean, would Bill let anyone mislead fellow blues?
I heard Tony Hibbert stuck 2 past him in that first hour and he got laughed out of the place!
Roy,
And footballers always, always, tell the whole truth don?t they?
How did I know that someone would find another reason to have a go a Kenwright/Ross/Wyness/all of the above.
Don?t you ever get bored with it?
I?m afraid to make light of the situation in case my message gets removed again but in any event.....in this situation I?d believe Ross.
And either way, if the guy for whatever reason doesn?t want to be here then good riddance.
It?s not goalkeepers we need anyway.
Why the hell are we bringing in Serbian goalkeepers from Portugal in the first place. We’ve spent a lot of money on the back-up keepers, Ruddy and Turner, was that just a total waste of time or what? We’re four midfielders short of a squad that could begin to compete in the Premiership and Europe and we’re faffing on with reserve keepers?! We play 4-5-1 but only own four midfielders, I would suggest we ignore all strikers, defenders and goalkeepers until we can sort this out.
I agree totally with you Mike. I don?t really understand the need for a young sub keeper when we have Turner and Ruddy. If Moyes wants to let them out on loan then we may as well get an experienced, older keeper on a year deal or something. All this loan deal for this Serbian and then buy him for
£2M is baffling. I had the opputunity to watch Turner a few years ago on loan at Sheff Wednesday v Leeds at Elland Road and he was the best player on the park. Yeah he has had a few mishaps for us but the guy has more than enough talent for me.
James Braid,
a little out of line buddy
chill out for christ’s sake everyone on this site is so damn testy
Yeah I don?t understand why we need another keeper.
I don?t think anyone apart from the Serbian know why he walked out.
James Braid are you and Gerrard Madden the same man????
Juan Román Riquelme had problems getting through the non-EU passport control at John Lennon Airport as he dropped his passport on the Ringo Star Carrosel and was running around in circles to get it. Wyness was waiting for him for ages, even giving interviews on sky sports to pass the time.
Mike Allison:
We spent "big money" on Turner and Ruddy? Turner cost £50k! Ruddy was a bit more, about £300k. Bearing in mind Simonsen and Wright each cost 10 times that amount, I wouldn?t say we were spending big money on them.
A more likely explanation is that they haven?t developed over the last few years and Moyes doesn?t rate them.
Why should we only be looking at midfielders? Do you think Moyes is quite literally spending every second of every day bidding for midfielders, to the extent that there isn?t time to do anything else? Moyes?s job is to bring in top quality players at affordable prices when they become available. He shouldn?t miss out on the next Lescott just because he was looking for the next Cahill.
How did I know that someone would find another reason to have a go a Kenwright/Ross/Wyness/all of the above
Could it possibly be because they?re proven bullshitters?
It’s an easy one...Ross or a Serbian goalie?
I’ll take the goalie’s word every time.
Ross will say anything if it serves it’s purpose. He admitted it after the Fortress Sports Fund debacle.
Jimmy Crack,
Why was I out of line ?
One opinion is okay but another isn’t ? I didn’t that realise was how it worked.
Thanks for pointing it out.
James Braid, of course your opinion is as valid as anyone's, even if you are a naive Bill fan. Sorry but I do have a hard time believing anything told to me by proven liars and no this is not about Kirkby. As you said, players lie which is not nice but chairmen lying to the fans who go to the games is disgraceful. But, as Bill stated at that meeting, what does he know? ? he's only the chairman!
Yes, they are all full b/s. Now we're interested in Moutinho for £20M... yea right! Selling season tickets again... Didn't we bid for Shearer after he?d joined nNewcastle?Goodison will fail Health & Safety in a few years? Not! Yet again the fans being treated like idiots... well, we're not!!!
