Rumours on all sorts of forums plus a poster who is generally reliable on The People's Forum that Wyness is to be booted out.

Anyone heard similar?

I?ve heard he?s gone native and roams the Welsh hillsides naked and eats only worms and crill, though some say he hasn?t left his bed in 10 months and weighs 20 stone and weeps over a lego model of the Kirkby stadium.

Mark,

I really hope your right mate and its not a very late April Fools day joke. This man in my opinon has been just as destructive as Agent Johnson.

The gauling thing about him that he’s paid over 400K for a job that fans would do for nothing and would probably do a better job.

For me I thought the Ronney saga would have been the lowest point I would feel in my lifetime following the blues but these cretins running OUR Club have outdone what Rooney & co ever done.

I’m serving with a welsh Battation and most of the lads are from Rhyl, Wrexham and south wales, fellas believe me if the amount of shit I have taken in the past month about the move to DK is anything compared to what we will get from Reds from the City, it will be a argument a fear we will never win!

We are the Founding Farthers of Football in this City, don’t let the bastard Sons of Everton have the city all to themselves.

Who would he be signing in Germany? As much as I want him gone I would hate anything to disrupt our plans at this time of the year. With Moyes not signing, the Kirkby deal in limbo, Kenwright being strangely quiet, no signings made .... doesn?t send out positive signals to be fair.

Depends where he was going, Sean :)

"This time of year" is a time for negotiating transfers... or jetting off to the sun on your jollies. Could be either...

The Great Riquelme Ruse of Summer 2007 started at Bluekipper so maybe this is their play for 2008.

Grant: Surnames as well, please. In answer to your question, a Turkish paper reported that Wyness was going to Germany to negotiate a possible deal for Mehmet Topal.

I know the Club can’t go around issuing statements denying every rumour that crops up on the internet, but this one is pretty big don’t you think and would warrant a respose as such if false?

No doubt more scurrilous rumours. Everton can ill afford to lose such a vital executive at this time. Whilst it is a fact that the Chairman made the first contact with Sir Terry, it is KW who has been responsible for all the plans and preparation in conjuction with the Tesco deal. Even IF the scheme were to be called in, his input in preparing for the Public Inquiry would be vital.
A good man viilified in these columns, I?m sorry to say!

I have it from a reliable source that most people on this board have absolutely no idea what a CEO does, and are in no position to judge how he has done.

The source went on to say that these are the same people who call on youngsters they have never seen to be blooded, or for the signing of a player they once saw score a tap in on youtube (to the tune of "I will always love you").

Obviously I can’t name the source, but rest assured he has almost always been right before - he predicted Amy Winehouse would be taken to hospital at some point, for example.

I’m no fan of Wyness, but if this rumour turns out to be true (doubtful), I cannot see the point of rejoicing. We have "5-6" players to sign in the next few weeks and if DK has been called in at this late stage, little inward investment to pay for them.

i am remaining slightly cautious over this rumour and its implictions if true

it would be easy to rejoice if the kirby project falls flat on its arse. we all know how passionate we all are about our team staying in the city. i cant stomach the thought of the red shite bragging they are the only team in the city

But what happens if Kirby DK does bite the dust. Will it mean a number of things

1) no new stadium means no new investment?

2) we have sold all our assets. the only thing left that we own is a stadium that is falling apart and a decent set of players

3) we look like selling AJ does this mean we cannot replace him. will that money go on paying part of our debt off

4) will we have to sell the rest of our best players and replace them with cheap alternatives?

5) will Davey boy refuse to sign a new contract on the basis that all the work he has put in over the last 6 years patiently building up a team is destroyed by financial restrictions and the need to generate extra income

i am not saying all this will happen, but before i celebrate at the possibility that we dont have to go to kirby and that the fat man has squeezed his last penny out of us, i want to make sure that all these fears i have will not materialise

it was only this morning i was dreaming about moutinho, topol, milito, bent fernandes et al
i dont want to go back to that pre moyes era of painful mediocriity

I am not Wyness’ biggest fan, I don’t want to go to Kirkby and I think our marketing is shite, but I still think that some of these posts go too far.

In fact, if he leaves now and we are left with Kenwright to negotiate any deals we will just have shot ourselves in the foot.

Imagine

Moutinho’s agent: ’’ Well, Mr Bill, how much are you going to pay my client a year?’’

BK: ’’ I don’t know, but he’s gonna love it here. I get a warm feeling inside just remembering my days in the Boys Pen.’’

Moutinho’s agent: ’’ ha ha, Mr Bill! You are very funny. Come on though, tell me what you are offering and for how many years?’’

BK: ’’ Look, I really don’t know. Just sign up and let’s get the pictures of him in an Everton shirt on the website! Did I tell you about the Latchford 30th goal game all those years ago? I’d just got back from my honeymoon with my first wife...’

Moutinho’s agent: ’’ Surely you must know. If you don’t then who does? ’’

BK: ’’ Oh, I leave that up to Keith, but now he’s away tying up a massive investment for us it’ll have to wait. I’ve told everyone the Russian money will be with us very soon. Some thought Keith had resigned. Can you imagine that? Somebody even said he’d gone to Mallorca!! ’’

Agent: ’’ I need to know how much or else he will go elsewhere.’’

BK: ’’ DON’T ASK ME. I’M JUST A FAN REALLY, JUST THE CHAIRMAN, I HAVEN’T A CLUE!!’’
