So the CEO has resigned with no word of why. This in itself will harbour story after story by people in all parts of the media and message boarda such as this all claiming to have the inside info. All very interesting I am sure but for me its how the club deal with this resignation considering the timing of it.
We have a deputy CEO so let's hope that he can step up to the plate in the short term and be successful in capturing the players of the calibre described by the manager on the OS today.
In the longer term the Chairman and his board and advisers can search for a replacement who I hope can improve on the perception of a 'Bully Boy' CEO. and still lead us forward by growing the business for the benefit of all and to meet the fans craving for silverwear within a solvent and well run club.
All is not lost — No-one is indispensible.
Here's to a great season on and off the pitch.
UP THE BLUES

Apparently he has been doing a lot of the stuff Wyness should have while he concentrated on the stadium issue.

Of course next we went on to beat our neighbours to 4th spot.
Heres hoping we can do it again!
Dont know whats going on but this EGM seems to have people running for cover.
I just wonder if the creative accounting has been a bit too creative hence "Black Bill’s" shout that "He doesnt know what’s going on he’s only a fan".
I?ve read some of your posts in the past that seem to make a lot of sense. I?m in no sense a number?s man, can you explain what you mean by "creative accounting" and more importantly how Everton may have done this in regards to DK? Cheers!!!
thanks for the compliment it is usually brickbats on here.
Anyway I couldnt think how to explain it properly so here?s a dictionary definition:-
Creative accounting refers to accounting practices that deviate from (the spirit of ) standard accounting practices. They are characterized by excessive complication and the use of novel ways of characterizing income, assets or liabilities. Sometimes the words "innovative" or "aggressive" are used.
The term is also (used more seriously and disparagingly) to refer to systematic misrepresentation of the true income and assets of business organizations. "Creative accounting" on this scale has led to a number of recent accounting scandals, and many proposals for accounting reform.
Creative accounting is also used by smaller companies for tax saving purposes and large companies for meeting bonuses or shareholders expectations. One commonly accepted incentive for the systemic over-reporting of corporate income was the granting of stock options as part of executive compensation packages.
Or in laymens terms it means the figures are made to lie.
I have always wondered how Kenwright who didnt have a pot to piss in when PJ was paid £20 million for his shares came by the money and then Evertons debts rose to £29 million the year after.
Also look at Paul Gregg (his so-called best friend at the time) and Trevor Birch (one of the country?s leading insolvency experts at the time) and how they fell out with BK bigtime.
I forgot to answer the second part of your question.
DK would enable us to borrow about £100 million which if people had (and Im not claiming that they have or have not) messed about with the figures then that £100 million could be more easily lost among the other numbers to correct previous misnomers.
It was between Moyes and Wyness and Moyes has won. Hence the good new fillip on the site ref his contract and new signings. I think it all boiled down to who Kenwright was going to give his backing to. Obviously, it was Moyes.
DK is another subject and maybe nothing to do with what has been going on behind the scenes. Conspiracy theories still rule though!!
If he also goes now - what next!!??
is that the same Trevor Birch who left Derby County shortly after joining them as CEO ?
I dont know what happened at Derby County I just know when he came to EFC he had one of the best reputations in the country and resigned of his own accord after a matter of weeks.
That should tell you more about Kenwright’s regime than about Trevor Birch.
I call bullshit mate. Name your source - nothing on Toffeeweb, the OS, BBC, SSN, or even Fulham’s site.
Jesus this site attracts some wind up merchants

He was full of shit and i?m glad to see the back of him.
He didn?t give a shite about us the fans or the club, he was was a blood sucking leach clinging on to Everton?s arse for his one last big pay day, when DK was a done deal.
I bet you anything you want that there will not be another summer like this now that prick has gone. Our next CEO will get deal?s wrapped up quickly like a CEO should. Not fuck around with DK and do nothing else!
The king ain?t dead, he was no King so I think this should be changed to the headline.. "FAT ARSE FINALLY DOES EVERTON SOME GOOD!!"
It would not suprise me if Moyes wanted him gone, it never seem to me that there was any relationship between the two at all and its strange that no sooner has he gone, Moyes announces his new contract is a week away and new signings are just around the corner.
Make no mistake, fellow Blues, this is a good day for Everton and a defining moment in our Season and possible our future.
