Moving on?

Let's hope the resignation of Bully promises an end to the lies and non-truths of the last few years. Sure, the club is on a better financial footing than it was when he arrived, but let's face it, it would be more than generous to lay the credit at his feet. It's a bit like the adage of Il Duce: "You can say what you like about Mussolini, but at least he got the trains running on time". It doesn't change the obvious harm Bully caused to our reputation and to the fans faith in the club during his tenure. I don't think we'll look back on him fondly and frankly it's good riddance!
Secondly, I dearly hope this spells an end to Destination Kirkby, though I still see the official website is pushing those night-time images of the proposed stadium whenever they can. You know, the ones that make it look like Berlin's world reknowned Hauptbahnof rather than the daytime ones that make the proposed stadium look like a fruit and veg warehouse or an elaborate trolley park. We all know which one will be closer to the truth. If it does get called in though, I'll be sending that Hazel Blears a bottle of bubbly. Fingers crossed, everyone.

He stated that Robert Earl and Phillip Green are running the club and Kenwright is basically their "puppet". Wyness it threatening to make everything public unless he gets some kind of pay off.
They are expecting that EFC will give KW what he wants to keep him quiet so I would a standard "I?d like to thank everyone at the club...." statement.
I accept that there is a huge amount of frustration at our current plight. However how has our reputation been damaged by the actions of "Bully" as you call him? Supporters of other clubs, excluding you know who, only view us from a football perspective and it is my opinion that we are admired throughout the rest of the Premier League for our achievements in the last few years. It was only a few months ago that clubs auch as Newcastle, Villa and West Ham were using us as a benchmark for their own ambitions. As regards the stadium move this is an in-house subject and the debate is of no interest to fans of other clubs.

If he?s taking advice it would seem unlikely that he?s leaving to take up another post, although I?ve no doubt he will end up in Spain. I?ve also read that his departure is linked to Philip Green and elsewhere that Green kicked Wyness out of his office. This is maybe the plausible story and would explain the club?s silence amongst other things, but if it?s true it brings Green?s role at EFC into question, his claims that he?s just Bill?s mate would begin to look a little false.
