Does anyone know where this game can be seen live?

I hope there’s a camera for the next game!!

Great time for us mate, being lunchtime we can sit here with some grub and enjoy the game without having to keep awake with a cup of coffee! :-)

I’m straight off to the airport when the game finishes to pick up the missus.. lol

Damn 2-0 down.. Least I won’t be intoxicated when driving from drinking from each goal :)

Not that I ever imagined we’d score enough to get me over .05

Game over and 2-0 to Chicago. Vaughan got sent off at the end due to a bad tackle. Thats just from the official site anyway.

Friendly match or not I think the obvious problems are there to be seen and also show why someone has to try and curb JV?s temperament in the right direction. Yes you can play full-blooded but there is a limit and not just to avoid getting sent off but also to avioid injuries.

Where’ve Neville and Gosling been playing during the friendlies? I presume Neville right back and Gosling right mid? Please don’t tell me Neville’s in midfield!

Ok, finally got home..

Watched the highlights.

We’re lucky Jags didn’t score an own goal near the start..

Also, Yak came close on occasion.. the keeper doing well to deflect it wide.

I’m still unsure whether Yak shoulda been awarded the penalty.

He kinda moved his bulk into the opposition player, which looked like he forced the foul but yeah, if you are brought down by the opposition player, then I guess its was a penalty.

I dunno though. Woulda been nice to get! :)

Pienaar played well on a ball but fired wildly.

Neville had a nice shot on goal from centre, flicked just wide of the post. I’m not sure if the other Everton player closer to goal got a touch on it.

A run into the penalty box, then a short pass back in front of goal, should have been put away by Vaughan. I can bet Cahill would have dealt with it.
Unlucky James. He’s just been out of practice.

Osman got ahold of the ball, tripped, then regained composure to run it through the centre, passing an awesome ball left to Lescott who fired first touch but the ball touched the keeper and lost speed, not making it over the line before it was retaken.

Generally.. We weren’t bad. Just not GOOD enough! We need Fernandes back desperately!

I’m sure Neville was right back, but got forward on a few occasions to attempt a goal or set play.

Not long in from work myself so I only heard what appeared to be silence and then some match report, must have ben some fault with the mates recording, anyway we seem to be lacking match fitness and yes Fernandes badly missed as well. We won?t ever see him again in an Everton shirt, he?s happy in Valencia, their new manager rates him so good luck to him. He comes to us injured twice, we get him fit and his confidence up and once again he wants away from us. I?m not too concened but obviously new blood is required or I think Moyes will be gone as well.

I can?t remember the last great pre-season we?ve had. This is going to be a hard season unless some real quality finds its way to us. No need to worry just yet, we?re not a bad team, a bit more focus and we?ll be fine.

I?ll be visiting Valencia later in the year, I?ll pass on our best wishes to Fernandes and on my return I?ll start the usual thread "If Manny comes back in January..." Thank God we won?t have to worry about it happening again, he won?t be back for a third time ? Moyes is no fool!!!.

Declan McCarthy, Manuel Fernandes has never said he’s happy at Valenica, he’s never said he’s wanted to stay and if I remember correctly a few weeks ago he said he wanted his future resolved and was unhappy that his price tag was so high.

The only thing that’s come out of Valencia is the manager has been impressed, impressed with his attitude and impressed with his quality. Who wouldn’t be? The boys got bags of talent and he’d impress anyone.

I wouldn’t completely write him off though, we have done before and he’s returned. I think given the oppurtunity Manny would return, he made friends here, big friends with Victor supposedly and settled in well.

The price has to be right though, we are interested but Moutinho is first choice, we’ll have to see what happens really.

I was away for a while Conor and have obviously being wound up by one of my mates, so I’ll say sorry for any confusion caused, I do like Fernandes, I’d like to have the two of them here if that was possible, Jesus!! what a midfield to have, I like Motinho’s energy and I love Manny’s vision, what a combination if it could be done. Thanks Conor I know you like Fernandes as much as I do, I’m tired today, 12 hour shifts take it out of you at times and the old grey matter is all over the place today. I’ll now ring the mates and wind them up!!! i’ll pray for Manny’s return to us, this is beginning to get familiar, I did the same thing last season.
