Down to one striker?

Just read on the Sky Sports web site that if the ref from last nights game reports Vaughan to the FA then he will be suspended for the start of the season (3 games for a straight red isnt it). With big Vic gone this leaves only the Yak fit for the start of the season. Is anyone else starting to panic a bit now? Let's keep our fingers crossed the ref doesn't report him.

Please, please, please will someone explain to me why my beloved club whom I have supported for 28 years are doing nothing to even keep up with Spurs... now I know they have pots of money and we have done it before on a tight budget but, lets be honest, we have the smallest squad in the league and the most lightweight midfield and attack in the league...
Go figure!!
We are being left behind...I might get an ass whooping by saying this but I can only see a bottom to mid-table finish next season unless something is done soon!!
Here’s some positive news Johnson’s still our player!!!
It doesn?t really matter as we only play with one striker and I?m sure this early on in the season Yak will be able to last a game.
Heres to hope!
When Everton are concerned ’it never rains, it pours’.We must have all done bad things in a past life.
I am really worried that all the stuff going on behind the scenes will probably mean a mediocre finishing position or just hovering above the relegation zone by the end of the season. With the departure of Trevor Birch and rumours flying around that are 10 goals a year striker will be leaving us, things are looking bad. All we need to hear now is that Moyes has signed some unknown Aussie from a championship side and a mercenary, and it will really feel like groundhog week.
Baloo - are you on crack ?
We're about to sign Moutinho... If we get Fernandes, we could have one of the best midfield?s in Europe... Seriously Cahill, Arteta, Pienaar, Fernandes and Moutinho ? absolute class!!!
Look on the brighter side.....
Geh, yeah great but no-one who has any physical presence. We need a hard tackling central midfielder, a bully.
Carl,
why don?t we re-sign Wyness ? In an interview on the OS he said his footballing nickname was "Chopper"!!!
Wyness?s nickname was 'Chopper' not for his footballing ability believe me; my friend?s sister?s cousin slept with him a couple of years back!!
Let's just say he can stand on one leg!!
Chris, I think you answered your own question mate. Spurs have the money and we don’t.
As much as I cannot stand Kenwright - I know that if he did have the money, Moyes would get it.
I’ve deleted the stuff about Watkins. All of it was posted by one person using multiple personalities to argue the toss about him on this thread. Fun’s over, Adam / John / Steve / Jason / whomever daft fucker you are.
C’mon guys!
Vaughan played rough challenge to force Moysey to stick with Johnson. Vaughan is great friends with Cahill and Cahill didn’t want Johnson to go! :)
LOL.. Enough fantasy talk.
I’m sure we will surprise all and sign many very soon!
