The Echo of misinformation.

Did anyone hear the assistant editor of the Echo on Talksport this morning?? Mike Parry and Jason Cundy were discussing the ground move and they had this guy (I didn't catch his name) on to give an "independent" view of things. He basically came out with all the usual rubbish that we were getting from the club such as Goodison can't be redeveloped etc.

He was also going on about the fact that the move was voted for by the fans. He missed the whole point about how it was sold, transport links, costs, everything. He went on to say that Echo has supported the move (no shit, Sherlock!) from the start.

If I hadn't known better I would have thought it was someone who knew nothing of the whole situation, but as I have said this was the assistant editor! With friends like the Echo, who needs enemies!?!

The Liverpool Echo and City FM etc, have always spoken positively about Liverpool FC and negatively about Everton FC for as long has I can remember, so it is nothing new! If Liverpool FC was moving to the Kirkby site it would be the best thing since sliced bread! And I?m sure it was us first who wanted to build a stadium on Stanley Park and now they?re after it?

I didn?t hear the guy from the Echo but I spoke to them on air about the ground move at about 9:30am and managed (I think !) to put across most of the problems with the scheme to them (but note, it?s only a 4-hour show !).

Mike Parry won?t say/hear a bad word against Bill Kenwright or his tenure at the club but I tried my best !!

I heard you on the show and you put the point over well, nice one.

I just found it amazing that the assistant editor of the Echo was so misinformed. Either that or he is in with the likes of BK and doesn?t want to upset the club for whatever reason.

Let's be honest, if it's Parry he talks shite all the time. The same guy said when Sherk left we should wish him well and be proud he had played for us. As for the Echo, it's always pro-club line ? if anything is about to come out bad, the paper will discredit the player ? remember when Ball went. I wish Kenwright would just go; he has lost all respect from most fans already.

Porky Parry what a tosser he talks that much crap there is no way hes a blue he has got to be a red hes just to ashamed to say and who can blame him the tool! As for the echo when ever i bought it i’d get my back doors booted in by it, its a red paper and have stopped buying it for that reason its all a conspiracy to put us BLUES down and the liverpoo council are in on it aswell
