No pay on the gate tommorow

Comments (12)

Does anyone know why people cannot pay on the gate tomorrow? As without wanting to moan, it seems another silly decision in throwing away money. There will be no chance of a 30,000 attendance and will be lucky to break 20,000 so surely a pay on the gate would come in handy if people see a sunny day and fancy a good old moan at Goodison.

Exactly - and also at £16 a ticket despite nothing new being on show.

Also why can’t EvertonTV manage to have live footage of the game?

Three games in a row of just radio commentry?!?

Lucky I only paid for it for a month just to check it out.

Fortunately it looks like it’ll be on the p2p servers!

Sucks for those not living a stone’s throw from the match to attend. A gaping ocean is a fair hike.

Yet another chance to maximise revenue passed up, I spent years training retail managers & totally despair of our club.

We should have cheap tickets for this including pay on the day. Its a chance to get a BIG crowd sell some new shirts & profit from the catering & other incidentals.

Look at the example of test cricket on the last day £10 adults £5 kids ( pay at the turnstile ) result is full ground & full tills.

Mike, its not on everton TV because setanta sports have the rights and are showing the game live tomorrow...£12.99 per month subscription plus £14.99 connection fee!! Cheaper to buy a ticket

I would imagine it?s not pay on the gate because of the number of pisshead Evertonians who dive out of the dives of County Road at ten past five (or 5 to three on a normal day) and then kick off when they miss the first ten minutes of the game or even worse because the bizzies don?t put the kick off back.

Also - how does the electronic entry system cope with tenners, fivers, twenties, change etc.

Saw a promotion on The Barcodes official website the other day and thought ’why aren’t Everton offering something like that’. For every shirt purchased they were giving away a free ticket to their home friendly against PSV and then I thought oh no Everton already sold (given away) control of those interests long ago.

Yeah, well the Setanta here in Australia aint playing the game til 10am the next day our time.. 10 hours after the game has been played.. I prefer live!! :(
And already paying for the Fox Sports channels, ridiculous I gotta pay extra $15 AU a month to watch Setanta now that they broadcast a lot of the games!

www.myp2p.eu has it listed as on..

Ok, that’s blardy coincidence.

Was reading posts before, and thinking, I wouldn’t mind this season catching up with Birmingham and Sheffield games to at least see some of our past players we’ve let go.

Flicking thru Fox Sports to find Birmingham Vs Sheffield Utd on 2nite! :) LIVE..

Be good to see Beats, Speed and Naysmith up against McFadden, Bent and Cars. As long as all are uninjured.

and ofcourse to see David Carney the Aussie playing for Sheffield Utd as well.

Unsure who I want to win now :)
