Moyes Walkaway?

I think Cast said it all!

If you've played all the games they've played
You played them yesterday
Just walk away, walk away
If you've been, where they wanna go, seen all they've got to show
Just walk away, walk away, walk away
That's what they say, what they say, what they say
You gotta walk away

And now you must believe me, you never lose your dream
So now you must believe me, we never lose our dreams

Our transfer woes continue with the news of the Vagner Lover deal falling flat in its face in typical Everton fashion and it now looks as though we wont make a new signing which must be to Moyes frustration..
I would just like to bring up a name we were linked with a couple of months ago and we were quoted in the press of actually making a bid for him...FELLAINI...Of Standard Leige... Anyone remember when we were linked with him?. After watching him dismantle every single thing Liverpool did last night and not only that but he looked everything we are looking for in a central midfielder..Strong, powerful in the tackle and athletic... It was the first time I have ever seen him play but I was genuinely very very impressed by what I saw..
I just wonder why we never backed up our interest in him especially with the way we are struggling to find players this summer..

Fact is if Moyes does not get what he wants. A very ambitious manager that does want to win things in his career will just walk as there will be plenty of clubs ready to pounce with wads of transfer fee money. And Billy Bullshit just does not see it coming

Much as we would all love to believe that it is the board that are not providing the cash it would also seem that dithering Dave has not earned that nickname for no reason

Careful, Baloo, I do believe he will shoot you.

Anyway, back to football, does anyone remember Moyes’ last day signings a few years ago? No one all summer, and then 4 out of the blue on Septemer 1st! Martyn, Kilbane, McFadden and Jeffers. All except the latter were a success to varying degrees. It’s not ideal, but it could happen again, here’s hoping.

Let’s get one thing straight, Cast are shit.
Not saying I’m happy about it but Everton always leave signings late - remember last season, they must have saved at least 50p on the Yakubu deal.

The idea of Moyes leaving is one thing but please don’t remind me of that awful song, or indeed anything by that band. Christ, there’ll be covers of The Farm next!

If we had kept McFadden and Johnson and just signed Fernandes for 6 million I would have been fairly happy with our squad going into this season. Moyes has royally fucked up by depleting our squad without considering what replacements we need.

The fact we only have 10 first teamers for Saturday is a joke and has left me wondering has Moyes actually allowed this to happen on purpose just so he can teach BK a lesson?

Well Well Well..............I’ve read some crap in my time on this site but Jesus this takes the biscuit. Come on Guys lets be honest do any of you really think he will walk?

I agree that we need to be concerned by the lack of transfers coming into the club but he isn’t going to leave now after what he has squad he has created the last few seasons. Yes we have sold Johnson and a few others. We have a squad at the moment which resembles my local Sunday morning team in respect of see who turns up which normally equates to 9 players but right David Moyes off at your peril because he will get the right faces in and we will be challenging for Europe again its just taking longer than expected and the media on our backs is making the fans even more anxious!!

Come on guys keep the faith (Bon Jovi)

From that ever reliable source the Daily Mirror.

David Moyes is fuming after his move for Vagner Love collapsed when middle men failed to deliver.

The Everton boss was told CSKA Moscow would let the striker go on a season-long loan for about £2.5million, and the deal was set up with owner Bill Kenwright’s approval.

But Everton’s transfer jinx struck again when they were told they had been misled by one of the agents involved.

Moyes is furious he wasted a week chasing the Brazilian and will probably go into the opening game against Blackburn Rovers without a new signing.

He may try to rush through a move for Alan Smith although the Newcastle player’s high pay could be a problem.

There must be some reason why Moyes hasn't signed the contract yet. Yes, it could be because of the usual Everton pre-season farce. he may have been waiting for the Kirkby decision.

What has often crossed my mind is that a dour, determined, old-school Scot is likely to call it a day at Man U at the end of the season and I have long thought that Moyes will be Ferguson's successor. Its no secret that Ferguson rates Moyes highly, and as much as we all hate them, what manager would turn down Man U?

Is the dawdling a sign of this as a likely outcome? There is nothing stopping Moyes working on the same contract without re-signing.

I know this has been done to death but more and more creedance is being given to Moysie leaving. I'm not one of those people who knows mates of aunties who feed the cat who gets stroked by Bill Kenwrights cleaner etc, but I do know of a link with the club.

I'm told that Moysie is waiting on the finalised details of an offer from Man U, to become their assistant manager. The sticking point on that contract is having it written in that he will take over from Ferguson, when he goes. Everything else is set-up. Hope this is bullshit but as things stand at the moment, who could blame him?
