Complete Ineptitude

I was on my way to work today. Sun is shining, weather is sweet and all that.
Then as I get off the bus and make my way into Williamson Square I hear a truly awful vomit inducing noise. A noise only 40,000 gobshites would choose to sing along to. I'm sure you know what i'm talking about.
All around the square there are pretty(ish) girls shooing people into the centre of the square to watch some kind of show. The show in question was not just promoting the RS it was to do with shopping in Liverpool in general. That is not the bit that got me, sickening though it was! It was right outside the one and only JJB. The club cannot just accept that they are our partners, leave all our marketing to them because soon people wont know that we exist.
LFC may be our nearest rivals both geographically and in the league but thier miles ahead of us in everything else.
This has just topped of what is rapidly declining into the worst summer of my life. I will be contacting EFC Monday to offer my services to the marketing dept. It would be impossible to do a worse job. See you all Saturday with my boots!

Ste, can you tell me your squad number? I want to buy the new kit of our first signing of the summer.
Mate you should send that post to the Marketing team as an email. Ask them what is going on. I am sure you can find the right email address. I know everton@evertonfc.com is the general one for fan comments. It’s a joke now.
RS miles ahead? You bet:
http://www.footballshirtculture.com/200808131779/08/09-kits/dhl-delivers-new-liverpool-fc-08-09-3rd-kits.html
It is a Joke. I live in South Wales and have looked in 5 different JJB stores and I have still not found the New Away Kit. I know I can order direct from the club but as the top is already £10.00 up on last year I just cant bring myself to pay another £5.00 for delivery. I love Everton just as much as the rest of you but £50 in todays climate is just ridiculous!!!
Just to let everyone know, the home and away kits are here in Hong Kong. No shorts, socks or kids line though.
Just something I picked up on the OS about the away shirt. The comment on the site was that the shirts can be bought at "SELECTED" jjb stores. I guess this means not all stores will stock them and if so would the club offer to tell you which of the selected stores they are at???
If they are meant to be our shirt supplier I thought they would have to be at all stores.
I live in Northumberland, just north of Newcastle. There is a JJB soccer dome, gym and store complex in North Shields not far from where I work. Thjis doesn't have the kits either.
What it does have though is shirts from all over the globe; Milan, Barca, Ajax, Madrid etc - not to mentioned Arsenal, Chelski, Utd and The Shite.
It is a fuckin disaster from top down our club; disgrace.
Sick to the back teeth of it me. SICK.
Is it driving anyone else up the wall? Everytime I go on to the official website I am greeted by an interview with Joleon Lescott who mumbles his disappointment over Stephen Pienaar?s injury. This same everton tv interview has been on the site for days and, at the moment, I am flicking on and off the site just to see if anything is happening eleven or twelve times a day , and as soon as I click on to the website on Joleon comes. It would be irritating enough but I have to quickly click the pause button so my boss upstairs doesn?t hear it!!

no patty , your not alone , it is really irksome !!!!
Perhaps its a Welsh thing, Kev, as I live in South Wales. Wherebabouts in Carmarthen are you?
our jjb in carmarthen must not have been one of the "SELECTED" stores , no away kits in store but can be ordered in. Patty , i am in park hall , how about you ?
I was in the JJB on market st in Manchester this morning. They have
the away kit in there (which is minging).
The girl on the till was saying that due to
lack of interest they were sending them
over to their stores on Merseyside.
The JJB in Blackpool is quite good, when the home kit came out, they had a wall display of them right in front of the door (still had a massive pic of gerrard tho as you go up the escalator)! Not bought the away one yet, waiting for a new signing, haha, I crack myself up sometimes!
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours goods!
As somebody said elsewhere......there is no shame in being poor. What is sad is being ashamed that one is poor.
The Club MUST stop spending money that it does not have! That way lies disaster! better to support the lean team that we have and encourage the younger players in particular in what is likely to be a very interesting season.
Hands up those people who are excited by the prospect of spending money that we do not have on the likes of Tiago, Ledley and Smith.
Brian
The problem is WHY we dont have money!
Tiago, Ledley and Smith are the Solicitors I used when I bought my house 20 odd years ago. I expect it must be their grandsons we are interested in buying, as these were doddery old effers back then.
I have heard from a very good source that Blue Bills’ solicitors, Bodgitt and Scarper, have just re-located to an Island they have bought near Mustique. Something like Sky Money Sandy Bay it’s called apparently.
It’s not JJB I have the problem with it’s the complete lack of a EFC presence in our city.
You cannot find us anywhere in any shape or form except around goodison.
There are hundreds of derelict buildings around liverpool that could be covered in efc branding for a nomial amount. Open training days, meet the players as part of a goodison tour day, legends night in the joe mercer suite.
The sad Fact is they cant be arsed to do anything.
Brian,Brian where are you Brian?
Brians gone back to his boring mundane job in the lufc accounts dept......numpty!
Anyway kids cheer up a 2-0 victory over B/burn tomorrow and the same scoreline for the maccams over the shite and all will be forgotten!!??!!
Rupert Murdoch probably told Kenwright a sob story and he let them off paying us the Sky money.
Are there any blues competing in the Olympics that maybe able to bring back an Everton shirt or two for us?
Peter - You could always try David Price?s Manager [Boxing]. David Price is an LFC supporter but his Manager is a staunch Everton supporter and winds Price up by wearing his Everton shirt when he is boxing. So far it has brought him luck as he had a gold in Australia and is now progressing well in these Olympics!!
By the way Kevin, I live in Llangunnor,
Indeed. There is just no presence at all in the city. It is like we don’t exist.
And I can’t see how it is making money for the club. I used to pop into the club store every couple of weeks and would often buy bits and pieces - but since it was shut down, I’ve visited the megastore once.
Its blatantly obvious that there needs to be a club shop in town
JJB at Cheshire Oaks, LFC have a very nice and big display that makes ours look like one of those sales in there (all items £2.99) strewn in a corner all messed up!
I ordered my new shirt for the season, and when it came, it had HAFNIA written on it.....!!!
Mr Squirrel....you are getting personal so I shall reciprocate. If you support profligacy and I don’t makes you the numpty not me. An accountant? That’s hilarious!
