Lowest common denominator

I have been reading for the last few months on this site about the decline in our beloved club and the disastrous pre-season and present state of affairs... After lots of sleepless nights and think tank sessions, I have come up with the lowest common denominator: Mr Alan Irvine.
Was he not the glue which held the playing side of Everton together? As previously we where better prepared come this part of most seasons and definitely more organized with on the field ideas. I see his no-budget PNE are off to a flier. Let's also remember last season after he departed, a month later we had a shocker end to the season and never recovered since. Maybe he is our future saviour... who knows???

Ah, but don’t you remember that just after he left we started to play wonderful flowing football...
I think "Lowest common denominator" says it all.
Nice try, but my money’s on the lack of investment/transfers etc etc.
Let’s face it.
Steve Round is no genius either.
Spells at.
Derby.
Newcastle.
And lot’s of time working with Mclaren does not bode well for entertaining football.
Wasn’t one of the first games after he left the 7-1 drubbing of Sunderland?
I know we are all upset about the lack of transfer activity but come on now!!
Dave, after his last interview he in now called Steve Van Der McLaren.....Arshhhinal ..are guud, isssh very guud.
Take a schmoke and pancake Steve and do one.
Gary,i hope you are only joking! irvine? no thanks!
No budget PNE? they’ve just finished a 20mil revamp of the stadium and still got more cash to spend than we do :D
Sunderland just sign another two players and Osman is on Sky sports talking shite about the kids can do it, prepare for fuck all signings - Fuck off Kenshite you lying toerag.
Were we not 11th when he left? So how did his departure coincide with a drop in form, our best form was nov-feb, when he wasn’t there.
We were playing crash bang wallop football before he came and we’ll be playing it for the foreseeable
Nope fella, you’ve over thought that one. We did ok with just Moyes for most of last season. I can remember however, a night in Bucharest, 2-1 down and being played off the park. I was screaming for us to make a sub (somet moyes hasnt yet grasped the ability to utilise) and i looked at the touchline and saw Moyes scratching his head Stan Laurel style, whilst leaning in to Irvine asking something, who was standing there perplexed with a similar Laurel scratching moment going on. I turned to the guy behind me and said ’this aint over yet’. He had a go at me for being over optimistic. I explained that I meant for Bucharest..
