Moyes looks tired

Comments (7)

I've just watched the local news and an interview with David Moyes and he looked as if he hasn't slept for a week. He almost looked like Kenwright did when we sold Rooney to the Mancs. I shouldn't be surprised considering he is doing a job with his hands tied.

Did anyone else think the same? We need investment and we needed it some time ago! ACT NOW BEFORE ITS TOO LATE, KENWRIGHT!

As I said over the People?s Forum, he just looks f**king knackered. Absolutely shattered and it might be premature to read too much more into it than that.

He?s no doubt been up all hours taking and making phone calls, fretting over players, and worrying about tomorrow?s game... while no doubt also cursing Kenwright?s blabbing gob for telling everyone to "watch this space"

I imagine the pressure on him is immense, not least given all our anticipation that a big f**k off rabbit will get pulled out of the hat before Monday.

I?ve worked all-consuming projects that go down to the wire when you?re short on sleep and unable to rest easy even when you do get some kip and you end up like he looks — spent, bloodshot, pale and I?m sure he?s absolutely fed up with having to deal with the media right now.

If he was a man with one foot out the Goodison door, I doubt he?d give as much of a toss as that.

Three points tomorrow would no doubt do him wonders but I?m sure he?s look forward to a fortnight?s break once the deadline passes.

I've just noticed the story on the Sky Sports website about Moyes 'not being happy with life at Everton'. A few hours ago I was chatting an Evertonian neighbour who said he knows a guy who knows Moyes' father.

Apparently, Moyes' old man said David signed a new contract at the start of the summer but subsequent events (probably broken promises on funds) have led him to question the wisdom of doing so.

Who knows just how true that is... but it could the be case that things remain far from rosy in the garden.

Lyndon, a very accurate assessment having watched the interview he does appear drawn and listening to his responses he comes across as highly irritable. As the discussion progresses he finds it increasingly difficult to contain his frustration. I’ve often been critical of aspects of his management but its clear to see he’s had the rug well and truly pulled out from under him. Gave the impression he’d been wheeled out in front of the cameras and deeply resented it. He needs the support of the fans now more than ever.

Is there no end to the financial ignorance of people on this website? There is no way in a million years that Everton will get significant investment until the stadium issue is sorted once and for all. Everton face an outlay of tens, possibly hundreds of millions of pounds which will substantially increase risk of relegation (which is what happened to most other teams who have built new stadia). So for goodness sake stop living in cuckoo land. It ain’t gonna happen.

He sounds like having an Evertonian summer, scowing the internet every 10 mins for 6 weeks hoping to see a signing.

Just read an article with Michelle Platini where he says that he has asked EUFA legal team to look into stopping teams like Chelsea operating so deep into debt, as he believe this to be Cheating. This guy has influence and the ear of Sepp Blatter.
Maybe we are in a better position than we think!
