Irvine the Difference?

Comments (5)

Ever since Alan Irvine left for Preston, it seems we've been on a downward slope. We're near the bottom of the table, while Irvine's new team, Preston, are currently in second after spending barely anything over the summer.

My question is, in hindsight, was it possible Irvine was the driving factor behind our recent success?

That is hilarious mate, especially after people were coming on here saying it was because he left that we started to play some of our best stuff in ages last season!

I posted the same article last week and got slagged off but last few years, early season we closed down players quickly with no great players, we were sharp and a nightmare to play against; now we are giving away three points and if you cannot beat us you doomed. Blackburn hammered by run of the mill West Ham and looked title contenders against us. We are in SHIT and as the yanks say about our assistant coach... ROUND up and move ? the winter's long!!!!

Colin I agree, the first result after he left that had those people coming on here saying we started playing our best stuff was Everton 7 Sunderland 1.
