Stop sulking, Moyes!!!

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the current fiasco, it is time Moyes stopped acting like a sulky schoolboy. His obvious contempt for the club's recent signings is nothing short of a disgrace.
He is not the first manager to be promised money which doesn't then appear and he won't be the last. I suspect the problems have been made much worse by Moyes's own inability or willingness to react quickly to the fact that no one was willing to sell at the prices we were offering. We know he is an outstanding Plan A man but a very poor Plan B man.
As I said, though, none of this matters now as he is extremely well paid to be positive and make the best of a bad job. His 'we are all doomed' act is shamefiul and is in my view translating on to the pitch. If he feels he has been stitched up by Kenwright (haven't we all!!) then he should resign ? he wont of course until such time as he has a better-paid job to go to.
When he joined the club he knew we didn't have enough money to compete with the high rollers and that will never change unless we find a new Abramovich. He was happy enough to get on with it 2002 and he will have to do the same now.
We need a leader to get the players motivated. Anything else should be said in private to Kenwright. If his current strop continues it may well be Kenwright who gets rid of him.
In saying the above I would consider one possible other cause for his recent behaviour and that is he is actually suffering from stress or depression ? if so the club should get him some help quickly as things can't go on as they are.

My dad made a similar point. How can you motivate your employees if you come across as very down in the dumps. He needs to be instilling a siege mentality to inspire the players much as he did when he took us to 4th place.
He may rightly be very peed off but it does no good to show this to the team.
I think some of us are over-reacting to what was probably the result of a few late nights and just a bad day. We don’t know that before the camera’s started rolling DM didn’t ask that he not be asked about new signings because he wasn’t able to talk about them.
If it happens again I’d think about getting concerned, but for now, as long as he knuckles down and sorts the results out, and doesn’t suffer another dummy spitting interview, I’d go away and concern ourselves with something worth concerning ourselves with, like how long it’s gonna take before an England manager realises you can’t play the English out of position.
If he is as unhappy with the situation as he looks, then be a man and resign, the current body language he portrays is currently reflected on the field of play.
Moyes gets flak for defending Kenwright and the club hierarchy and then he gets flak for coming out and admitting all is not well.
It must be extremely hard to be motivated when the club you work for is an absolute joke. That said, hearing him say we are not in the condition to win matches is alarming.
Personally I think he is ready to walk.
As I’ve said in many summer posts, I’m waiting till Tuesday morning to assess the situation - but BK needs to do a bit of ’Lazarus raising’ to turn this one around!!!!
With the Celtic fand already at Strachan’s neck - I fear a certain scenario taking shape that will do us no good whatsoever! Brian Hamilton or Bobby Gould anyone? LOL
Moyes may have changed his mind since 2002, when he spoke of the need of quality to take us to the next level (Carling Semi defeat). Can’t he change his mind? It would be silly to be so stubborn. It’s like a conference team winning the FA Cup. Romantic, but all love stories are heartbreaking at the end.
For myself, I thank him for his honest heart felt realistic response. It made me realise that there was no need to waste my time on the Moutinho?s on Merseyside stories and that the truth of the matter was that we did not need to sell to buy, we needed to sell and we could not buy. I?ve had enough of optimistic papering over the cracks, of ridiculous rumours which the club are happy to let fester so as to delude supporters into a hope that there is a gilt edged signing on the way.
Moyes will of course get the best out of the new arrivals ? he nearly always does ? and will get on with the job without complaint and shoulder the blame for things which are not his fault. But he should be forgiven ? and indeed praised ? for providing a moment of realism, sincerity and honesty in a season of misinformation and deception. David Moyes is far from being flawless, but this I promise you ? you?ll miss him when he?d gone. Sadly I fear we all will, sooner than we think.
Are you some sort of a sadist

I think you're right: if he doesn't buck his ideas up, and pronto, he'd best be shipped out and we'll let the next one (whoever that may be... "Your mission, should you choose to accept it...") get started on his "Mission Impossible". [And please no-one ask who that would be; it would be entirely up to Bill Kenwright to select ? his job, not mine.]
