Zayatte & Bullard

Comments (4)

Hull have signed Guinea defender Kamil Zayatte on loan from Young Boys for the rest of the season. Are we to assume Moyes didn't fancy him as a player afterall or did he choose Hull over Everton? Either way it looks like we could have got him for with out a transfer fee (for this season at least).

Fabio Capello has included Fulham's Jimmy Bullard in his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers. Now, I never thought he was good enough to take us to the next level but he would have definitely been a good squad player and in fact judging by the start we've had, perhaps a regular starter, but I never imagined him to be an England international.

Bullard would have been an asset to the team. I assume we made overtones, so his decision to stick with Fulham says a lot about our ’stock’ these days - Cheers Bill - we’ve become a bit of a ’Whitehall Farce’ this summer - luvvie!

It’s his age that probably put Moyes off Bullard. The money being asked was too high for a 30 year old.

Bullard moved to Fulham a couple of years ago to play for the team he?s always supported. The guy?s 30 odd and playing for his boyhood team, why would he want to move even if we did bid for him? If any of us were playing for Everton would we consider any other options? I?m pretty sure he wouldn?t be struggling for cash either.

Well, if you're old enough to understand football where you?re old enough to think for yourself and choose for yourself, then you must be bloody stupid to choose Hull over Everton. It's probably down to either wages, he wasn't good enough, or Hull is his boyhood team!

Luke remember what Mr Rooney did to us then re-read your statement.
