Two Loans and Two Signings..?

Comments (21)

Listening to the Telegraph interview with Moyes he mentions that EFC have brought in 2 players on short term contracts (Jacobsen and Saha) and 2 on loan - Castillo and..?

Just checked the OS and there is only Jacobsen and Castillo on there, assuming Saha to be the 3rd who on earth can the 4th player be..?

Espn already has Obinna on our roster and Moyes has been mentioning 4 for awhile. I guess we signed him?

This interview was a few days ago? Whether it applies after the next few hours we’ll soon find out.

Theo is a DUD!!! Good on reflexes, but can’t read crosses, always flapping at it and missing, AND, terrible on the long shot.

No thanks, I don’t even think he’s that good at Melbourne Victory to be honest and I’m a staunch fan of both clubs.

I,am a big fan of davie boy and do,nt post that often but i think that its Unbelieveable that after being at the club for over 5 years now davie boy car,nt seem to bag a decent midfield general!!!
He,s had money in the past, if not this year but wasted it on strikers Beattie and AJ so why not a decenct midfield man?
The club being in a mess is down to Bill but the playing staff is his job and if he car,nt bring us the required players then maybe his time is up!!
Iam not a doom monger and theres still time yeat but for fucks sake GET SOME MIDFIELD MEN and i do,nt mean Alan Smith.

Theo’s a penalty saver.

I rate that very highly!

But each to their own I guess.

its funny how all these cock ends who were reporting that Moutinho was boarding a flight earlier this weekend have suddenly gone quiet.

I cannot understand why a professional club in a professional league such as this cannot yet fill an 11 a side pitch without a full team of players who can play in the respective positions. you know a centre back at centre back and central midfielder in central midfield.

This has to beg the question as to what on earth is going on at Goodison Park?

If we were unable to sign the players before letting the others go, why were they let go?

This is just ridiculous and reduces the club to looking like a pub team in terms of professionalism.

It all seems too quiet over Saha. Wasn’t he getting a medical on Saturday? Why the hold up? Have his legs fallen off? Is Kenwright sellotaping them back on as we speak? So many questions......

Carlo Nash from Wigan looks like our first deadline day signing. Bit of a come down from the Michael Owen rumours. At least we haven’t had to wait until midnight to see that news!!

Just sums up the summer really. Obinna looked a good player. My main conern is why Moyes was in london at the hearing, surely he should be at finch farm trying to bring other players. Just heard Stoke have bid for joe ledley, why havent we?

Let me tell you folks...go to bed early today.

Don?t hang around here hoping for the best.

Its not going to happen.

The reason why we were able to fund those buys in the past 2-3 seasons is because the banks were all flushed with cash and were falling over themselves to loan out their money.

Subprime has hit home in US, UK and all over Europe. Banks are now recalling their loans and credit lines are being looked at.

AJ and McFadden were sold to balance the books and to ensure we could continue to keep players like Yakubu.

Watch this space if you think we?re gonna sign some "big money player". I?m off to bed. This has been a JOKE of a summer. But you know whats worse? It?ll probably get worst NEXT SUMMER.
