Here is our new signing, a Goalkeeper!!!!!! and a quote from the OS...."Prior to his stint at Wigan, Nash, 34, has also played for Manchester City, Middlesbrough, Preston, Stockport and non-leaguers Rossendale United."..... I am off to bed, goodnight Gentlemen!

Finally, we got HIM!!!

Carlo Nash that is, a boyhood Everton fan. He signed a 2-year deal as cover for Howard with an option for a third....

Hurray for him, not for us ....wonder what the hell Ruddy and Turner are supposed to be?

This might be our big 2nd (after Saha) signing on deadline day O what Joy!!! What a Fucking Joke ....

Did we ever expect anything different. I hate Kenwright with a passion, he has personally ruined what used to be a great club. Now we are stuck, looking at relegation (I think Hull will stay up) a staduim with wooden seats & restricted views, and the laughing stock of the Northwest, The City takeover sums it all up.

Oh, and I live in Rossendale, Yeah Nash the local hero :-(

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Sorry. If I don?t laugh I will cry. Tony P, I suspect it is because we have £3.5million quid and a bag of sweets to offer for players. And they were holding back on the bag of sweets in case we needed them to tip the alleged deal for Alan Smith our way.

What a shambles.

What the hell is going on?!! Yes, we’re all hoping that Moyes is saving the McFadden and Johnson money for one big splash into the market, but we all know there’s Bob Hope of that.

Jacobsen (free), Castillo (loan), Saha (Nothing upfront), Nash (Free), Obinna (Loan- work permit denied)...certainly not the 5 or 6 signings that we were hoping for a few weeks ago!!

Fingers crossed DM knows more than all of us and will make something of this motley bunch. It certainly smacks of desperation though.
