1 hour to go and still waiting!

Comments (25)

Its 3:30am here in India and I have been sitting at my computer for nearly 9 hours. I have to be at work at 7:30am so that leaves me very short on sleep. It woulda been worth it if we had made 1 good signing tonight. All we have to show from it is Saha and Nash.... real sad state of affairs at our club. Even Hull and Stoke seem to have more enterprise than our club.

I hope I'm proved wrong and we pull of something in the next hour... even if we do,I feel it's time for Kenwright to go. Moyes looks like he will walk away soon enough anyway...

CRISIS? I think very much so....

Who would have thought at the end of last season: SkySportsNews Breaking news: Real Madrid agree £32.5m deal with Manchester City for Robinho - Everton sign goalkeeper Carlo Nash. Words fail me. If we pull off Feilani he will be a very decent buy but I cant see it. No money spent = less debt for a takeover?

Thats dedication Santosh....Ive been ready to pack it in since I heard about Obinna...havent though....I agree about Kenwright. If, as many people suspect, investment and money for transfers was tied to Kirkby I think it makes a mockery of Bills assertions hes only been looking for investment from people with Evertons best interests at heart....

Heres still hoping....

To everyone complaining saying how could Everton be doing routine maintenance on their site at this time, please try to understand this: The site has been crashing all day and night. It is not routine maintenance, but is a standard error message that us computer programmers and VB experts use. When a process breaks we put in a generic error message to be displayed to tell the user it is broken. We sometimes try to be more specific, but if we put up the error message we receive on our end you wouldn’t know what the hell it meant anyway. So we say "routine maintenance" in an attempt to fool everyone and think that it isn’t usually broken, or whatever other generic message. But the point is they are not doing routine maintenance, their system just keeps crashing because their server can not handle all the people visiting their site, which is still pretty pathetic of a club like Everton.

"After a first, even though very high, Everton bid was still afgewimpeld, The Toffees were there even more and eventually took a crazy bid of sixteen million euro on the strong midfielder. "

Jesus christ boys. We got afgewimpeld.

I knew about Robinho earlier this evening, someone?s job gave them advance notice of his due arrival in Manchester around 10.00pm this evening, and he texted me with the word. He also told me about someone else who had already arrived and been met by someone from the Reds. Some silly Bulgar I?m told!

Kunal, I lived in Liverpool for a couple of years when i was growing up...in the mid 80s...have been an Evertonian ever since...not easy following it from India but of late the coverage has been better. Surrounded by Man Utd,Chelsea and Liverpool fans who have jumped on the bandwagon after starting to watch these teams with money and power...In India they hype up the so called Big 4 a lot too when they cover games on ESPN-STAR Sports...so called "Pundits" who are all mostly ex-Liverpool twits like Steve McMahon,Jason Mac,etc

Christ, just in from meeting then pub and just before leaving suggested that if you had billions to spend it’d be a massive "fuck you" to Chelski to steal Robinho... mental !

Let’s see what we get other than a reserve GK ...

hmmm.

Man City lead on their web site with the story that Robinho has signed a 4-year deal at City. We lead with the signing of Carlo Nash. Says it all really, we?ll be lucky to finish in the top 10 this year

Well that's it; deadline up. I think it is time Bill Kenwright went. That is in the best interests of the club. I think David Moyse has had enough. I've not heard of Carlo Nash... WE HAVE LOST OUT TO BIG PLAYERS! Everton have had bids rejected and told, "no we want such price" and in the end, nothing. Saha could be good if not injured.

As an Everton fan of 30 years plus I am disappointed about transfers never mind the new stadium. We need new players but a stadium is no good in The Championship.

Well done to Man City on new owners and Robhinio. Man United, watch out! Come on, let's get new owners soon...
