I'm as ecstatic as the next bluenose about the arrival of Felliani - he's a young, tall, forward moving midfielder who should help to kick-start our season, but that's not what this post is about. According to the Daily Mirror, we broke our signing record last night by commiting £12.5 million in January for Vagner Love. Is that true? Why no comment on the OS? You would have thought that BK would have had the publicity machine in overdrive after all the vitriol aimed his way about not splashing the cash. It's as if nobody believes or cares...strange.

Andy,I don’t believe the"Mirror " story for one second.If we had another £12 million to spend I reckon it would have been spent before theEGM.
Anyway what we need is a midfield playmaker or a decent winger to allow Arteta to take up the central creative midfield role.Still,there is time for AVDM to get fit and surprise us all.

Did anyone see Carraghers article in the mirror about Evertonians.
He must have forgotten about the vile chants at carsley and a downs syndrome kid, he must have forgotten aboutthe pictures of kopites spitting on P neville and subsequently getting charged and taken to court, he must have forgotten about fans stealing tickets of each other outside a cup final in athens, he must have forgotten about the bulgarian waiter who got a paving slab dropped on his head and someone subsequently charged and convicted and currently serving 10 years in prison.
Considering ther is a Derby approaching shouldnt this wanker keep his mouth shut and not fan the flames of what has become a nasty day out. Also can we expect ian ross to comment on the article.
Everyone has their majority of arseholes and scumbags but it appears some play for clubs too.

Alan, what has this to do with the original post? And do you have a link to the story? Andy I would imagine nobody’s mentioned Vagner Love because it’s bullshit-just a guess though.

Just read that dicks article he used to be the only one of them fucks i liked but to blame only evertonians for all the rumours about Fowler & Gerrard come on theres no smoke without fire dickhhead also correct me if am wrong have we had fans banned for spitting on there players the man is a dickhead

Love’s goals per game ratio is class

but hes a bit to small only 5’7"

Still hes a brazilian international so he must be good

I'm surprised there has not been an outcry about the Mirror serialisation which made unpleasant comment about blues fans disgusting him which was emblazoned on the front page. With a derby match coming up the timing is unfortunate.

As a home and awayer I know carraghers comments are true, the Gerrard song is pathetic and follows us around the country.

The first time it was sung most people found it humourous, but now its gone on for several seasons and is sung with spite and mallice - surely no one still thinks its funny ?

I dont give a fuck what some gobshites sing - dont tarr all fellow scousers all with the same brush, - if they want to live in the gutter, let them. we can only look after our own standards.

I agree, we tend to sign players who are not linked with us.

So, maybe there is some room on these pages for speculation on players we are not linked with. Who would have guessed any of our new signings?

I don’t know how much legs it has but there is a section that says the £12m will be paid over 3 or 4 years and that sounds very much like a deal we would make.
