Enjoying my football again

Comments (6)

There are a glut of games coming up over the next couple of months in the league and the Uefa Cup. Between my work rota, a training course over the next eight Thursdays and a new satellite TV package I'm actually going to be available to watch a lot of the games. And you know what, if it kills me, I'm going to make damn sure I enjoy every last highlight and lowlight of it.

Over the last four or five odd months I've been the most miserable, depressed, petulant, sulky football fan known to man. And to be honest I've had enough. Right now, I'm just get back to basics, switch my brain off and watch some football!

I seem to remember last season we scored a hatful of goals, played some lovely football and finished fifth.

Due to injuries to Piennar and Cahill we haven?t had a chance to get that team back together yet, but when we get everyone fit we?ll start to play again. In the meantime I intend to get behind the team.

Take your Diet Tony Marsh shite and go do something else with your weekends then ? and leave us Blues who understand that this is not pro evo to support the team.

Nil Satis Nisi Optimum. It applies to us fans as well.

Your personal insults and ad hominem attacks wash over me like water off a duck..... Doesn?t change anything!

Then why reply to his insults. ... You "protest too much".

As for lots of games, stick the Carling Cup, stick the Uefa Cup and focus on the League and the FA Cup.

We dont have the resources to fight on four fronts, at the moment we are struggling to fight on just one, recruiting kids to battle in the trenches.

At three games into the season how are we so desperate already?

I agree Kieran - can't wait to watch us against Stoke. Really looking forward to seeing Fellaini and Castillo. I think getting Jags out of midfield will make the world of difference to our game.

I?ve replied because I am heartily sick of this ?one size fits all? type of support. I am heartily sick of the abuse thrown at fans who have different opinions from the COYB/IMWT kinda monologue mentality - support the club but only my way - DOOOH!! I appreciate it may fall on deaf ears but I can stand up for myself and will do so when I chose.
