Last night, I briefly caught a programme on telly about redeveloping down trodden areas of towns and cities. As I was about to go out, my ears pricked up when I heard the host (not sure who), mention he was off to Toxteth in Liverpool and had asked that Everton season ticket holding Councillor Bradley to take part and see just what can be done for that said area.
Our hero wasted no time in informing his audience he was a brave firefighter in the part of the city and it has always been his dream to see all the years of neglect put right (much in the same way he has been fighting for a new Goodison, I suppose). Anyway, when all the public and local constuction developers turned up to see just what could be achieved, only one person was missing.... yes, you guessed it...Mr B.
I can't really comment much more on this as I had to leave the comfort of my house for the joy that is Tesco's (how ironic, but nevertheless true!), so I was wondering if anyone out there could shed some light on what happened next, as in this day and age of respect and honesty, I would like to know if this devout Evertonian is indeed the helpful man he proclaims to be.

Shame on you Warren Bradley - & god help us if you are helping us with a new site to build a ground on! if you watch this he looks like a real Authur Daley!
If you use the BBC I player link & move it along to the Liverpool excerpt than you would see the main reason for modifying any old building is cheaper than buying a new property! In this programme there were developers prepared to renovate but Bradleys excuse was they were falling down all lies as thy had properties surveyed! In the days of the credit crunch I bet the building companies are cueing up to start rebuilding brand new estates under the slump who will be able to afford such new properties????? WB did not have the guts to turn up I'm on fire duty in that area that day I will be there, it must be still burning that fire or is he using LCC pound notes to put the fire out!!!!! Yes the LCC were listed as the worst performing council in the year of 2008 capital of culture, is he the new D Hatton in a suit!!!
Thank god the vast majority of shareholders demonstrated a greater grip on the real issues last week.
Keep reading the Echo and following the party line! Long after even they?ve stopped spouting it. Amazing how Philip Carter couldn?t answer Bradley?s direct question last week after he lied directly to the shareholders not knowing Bradley was there....... yet still the LCC distraction tosh. Anyways... match to go to!!! COYB

I didn?t see the programme you refer to, but I can assure you that Mr. Bradley is a publicity hound, whose mug is plastered at every local event the press attend. He advocates a groundshare with the R.S. and spouts the usual rhetoric you would expect of a clever politician. I would not expect any help from LCC as regards EFC.
He is acutely aware of keeping the RS voters happy to cling to his title. On a side issue, their lease runs out on Stanley Park in a few months, watch as LCC extend it just to keep the RS in the City. Wouldn?t we all piss ourselves if Ambani came up with the funds to build our new stadium on this site. Hope he is there tonight. COYB.
