Could Today Get Any Worse?..........Oh Yes!!!!

Comments (10)

I was riding my motorbike to work today happy in my thoughts that I was confident we were going to put in a good display against the Dark Side. I was stopped at a T-junction outside work when a car went straight into the back of me. When I eventually got up, to my horror it was my WIFE in the car behind!!

So I wasn't in the best of moods to start with. I get in to work (nursing a sore back) put on Sky Sports (we are lucky at work we have the full Sky package) and have to put myself through a performance of such ineptitude that I am considering riding my motorbike head on into a bus going home. If I have to witness another performance like that again I may start supporting Brighton!!!

But hey... I?m hurting too.. I couldn?t believe Everton played so badly today...

If I were you, I?d ram my motorbike into Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres if I see them crossing the road.

Could it get any worse? Yes relegation cos I am trying to think of three worse teams than us at this moment.

Craig - Any chance your wife could drive very fast around Kenwright's house. If he comes out clutching a contract with the name David & 17 million £ signs on it, just tell her NOT to bother braking!

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Can someone tell me why has Moyes stopped warming up with the players before the game. I always thought he motivated the players and the crowd before games. He certainly has lost some of his sparkle, he as looked despondant all summer and is demenar is rubbing off on the players, fans and the club. Please Kenwright do one before some of us commit suicide.

Misplaced confidence mate, we’re shit. We’ve got about as much chance as doing well this season as Wall Street.

Moyes must go, in terms of ability he’s got the best 11 players he’s ever had at his disposal as Everton manager yet I’ve just endured the poorest, most clueless, pathetic, gutless, determineless, abilityless derby performance ever

I expected to be out possesioned and passed by Liverpool, but it really hurt that they out determined and muscled us yesterday. Under Moyes in the past we always had grit and a lack of quality, why ironically now do we have quality without grit!

Only Jags, Hibbert, Neville, Saha and Cahill showed the true fighting spirit yesterday, I’m not saying they played well but at least they had the right application.

Howard, Lescott, Yobo altough possessing obvious ability look permanantly dumbstruck to me and they really cheese me off not ever permorming to their potential this season.

Fellaini looked completely disillusioned and almost shocked at the dire foortball that Everton have played since he arrived.

Osman, although he’s put in some good performances this season, was awful and the game completely passed him by.

But I’m most infuriated with the Yak and Arteta, two players with undoubted excellect ability but why the hell are we limited to so few glimpes of it! The Yak should be fined for his balatant dive, he’d done Skrytil so why didn’t he shoot and have confidence in this ability to score rather than dive! That one Yakubu chance came from the only time that Arteta beat a man. Wheneer he tries to take on a player more often than not he gets past them, so why does he try it more than once a match rahter than pasing a square ball to Neville?! He’s also got to deliver better on Corners and Free kicks.
