Anil Ambani

Just reading through the soccer gossip column in today?s The People. It is being reported that billionaire Anil Ambani is preparing a £550 million takeover of the RS. Wasn?t he the bloke who was supposed to be interested in buying us? If the story is true, it will be easy for him to choose after watching yesterday?s debacle.
Bill, you are now going to have to come up with another name in your phantom list of potential buyers. My advice is, to go to The Times rich list. There is possibly some ?punter? left by now that hasn't been mentioned in a possible takeover. Then you can bluff us for another while at least.

Its never easy being a toffee. If someone comes along willing to invest in this club at the moment it will be a miracle. Even if we could sign the best players in the world does anyone have enough faith left that Moyes’ tactics would get them working together?
As much as I hate them Liverpool are an international brand. Thats why evey second prick who follows football is a redshite. We would need someone so rich that they wanted to take on Everton as a challenge.
I?d take them on but I?m not sure I?d have enough time in between picking courgettes and building a greenhouse........
Newcastle have been linked with 3 possible takeovers, the RS are now being touted, and some Asian billionnaire wants to buy Tottenham. Considering Billy liar has said we?re for sale, we?re being linked with noone. It?s quite obvious he has no intention of selling.
Anil Ambani is investing $550 million into Speilburgs new film studio. There are no recent reports in the Indian press about him buying any EPL club at the moment. Everton was the last club mentioned in which he had an interest, but that story has gone cold.
The RS rumour is just a wind-up.
What a relief! I can think of no worse fate than Everton becoming the latest plaything of ?the Prince of Bollywood?!
Bill Kenwright is a GOOD MAN, a died in the wool Evertonian who, I pray, will stick it out until the tide turns and all these billionaires go on to their next fetish.
WE ARE EVERTON- PROUD TO BE OWNED BY ONE OF OUR OWN KIND!
Richard, while Bill maybe a good man and an Evertonian, he cannot take us any further. If he really loved the club, he would do what is right.
Richard Dodd, I think your the one with fetish mate, bet you’ll happily oil Kenright’s back, if he asked you to!
Yeah right enough, Dodd,
Owned by an Evertonian who admits he doesn't have the ability to take us forward ? an ability which was obviously also lacking when he scuppered Gregg...
In short a man that never had any intention of taking Everton anywhere.
Yeah - I'm so fucking grateful that we?re owned by an Evertonian.
What a crock of maudlin shite.
Richard Dodd - you're talking rubbish mate.
Gaydamark, Sarawatana, Hicks, Gillette and Ashley. They?ve all been fucking diamonds for their aquisitions, haven?t they?
Give me a Blue Bill, anyday!
Being owned by a blue is great and I?m sure it?ll be great in the Championship or League 1 as well. Bill was good for us when he bought us but no longer. To use a phrase often used with when discussing Moyes "He has taken us as far as he can" He has no money to fund new players and can?t run Everton properly.
The point is it?s nice to have a blue at the top but if he can?t do the job then it's no good for us as a club. Having an incompetent fool at the top would not be accepted in business and that is what Premier League football now is. Imagine Tesco being run by a bloke who is an avid allotment owner keen on growing his own fruit and veg but with no business nous it would not be tolerated.
We need a businessman who is in it to make money because to make money they would have to invest in the club and to be fair it would probably be a long term thing as we are not ripe for a quick turn around profit, there in lays the problem, finding somebody who knows all this and is still prepared to invest in our great club! Nil Satis Nisi Optimum
Some reports mention as many as 7 interested parties with regard to Newcastle; a Nigerian consortium has apparently put an offer on the table. And there is no real interest in us, despite BK’s plea. Does anyone have an email address for Brian Viner of the Independent? He is a Blue and perhaps he could be persuaded to use his platform as a national journalist to highlight the contrast between what happens when Newcastle goes on sale and what is going on with us.
It sad so sad it’s a sad sad sad situation (ex Watford Chairman and multi millionaire) has it just right. EFC is not even as attractive as QPR for !!!!sake. It is true that to invest you want a return and Goodison has a low land value. LCC will not give planning for anything on its ground, it has already refused planning for housing on EFC’s training ground. The motivation of Billionaires is to make money not to chuck it down a big hole. I think that if Kirkby is approved Efc will interest an Investor not before. So nothing is gonna happen until after the New Year tansfer deadline has passed.
Richard Dodd ,how dare you imply that all Evertonians are liars, you might be like Bill but the vast majority of us our truthful
