It's available on Everton TV. Go 'ed and subscribe... you know it makes sense. £40 * 19 million Evertonians worldwide... that's £796 Million!!! We wouldn't need no billionaires then!!!
Let's make this the Matchday Thread...
Phil Neville doing a comedy routine at centre half, so I hear...
Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Yobo, Neville, Fellaini, Osman, Pienaar, Cahill, Rodwell, Saha. Subs: Nash, Duffy, Gosling, Baxter, Wallace, Vaughan, Jo.
So that's Hibbert and Osman down the right again! Oh joy!
Decent link for the match....
http://iraqgoals.net
How the fuck is Osman gettin in ahead of Gosling after Saturdays performance??? One Striker???? Jesus Christ!!!! I’ll bet 1-1 and them to dick on us at their place! But apart from that COYB!!!!! :)
Anyone else having probs subscribing for the monthly option on evertontv?
Each time I click on it it just refreshes the same page. Looks like thats more money the club will miss out on!
Alright, I hope Neville steps up to the plate. We need him more than ever. Rodwell in midfield and Saha in for Jo..good choice Moysey.
Anyone else got decent streams? Iraq goals isn’t working for me
Peter Robert- try justintv, although they have shitloads of pop-ups
Hot tip for you tonight, Everton are going to win 3-1 - you heard it here first!!!! Come on the blues...!!!
Hi David, Joined Everton TV about an hour ago and no problems
According to the sky sports reporter at Goodison tonight negotiations have started with Newcastle over Steven Taylor!watch this space as someone once said!!Timmy for 1st goal tonight in a 2-0 win
Hi David I’ve been trying for the past 1/2 hour (again Monthly option) and no luck once it eventually allows me to proceed to after telling me my phone number can only contain numbers!!! it refreshes back to the sign up page! typical!
Sigma are an enormous 9-1 to win, with ladbrokes.
Someone, somewhere, hasn’t watched our game against Arsenal, and their game against Aberdeen....
David Denby have another go mate, we need the money!! :-)
"Sigma are an enormous 9-1 to win, with ladbrokes."
Just popping down the bookies...
All these 4.99, straight into Blue Bills Pocket
COYB!!!
Lescott made to sit in the stands with a suit on... that's got to piss him off. Seems happy though, all smiles with Yak and shaking hands.
Got Everton TV, got picture but no sound, anyone help?
They are tearing us a new asehole (and I don't mean Lescott).
It’s alright lads I’m in now. I expect BB to personally thank me for my contribution.
Think Howard wants to ’entertain’ tonight.
Come on blues, give us some pride back!
http://www.justin.tv/coalhouse_
This could be another Arsenal at this rate...
Jesus that was a stonewall pen. We’re shitting it already. Lucky we’re not 1-0 down...
mmm, Osman or a pacy winger.............let me think!
Wierd thing to say something positve but at least Fallaini is working hard
No creativity whatsoever, back to dogs of war! Has anyone ever seen hibbert pass it on the ground?
He might be working hard but his touch is dreadful
I’m not ashamed to admit I took the 9-1....and judging by the first 15 minutes, might have been the sanest thing Ive done in a long time.
Fellaini might be working hard but he hasn’t found his own man yet. How he didn’t give that penalty i’ll never know.
Why did Osman just stop when he had a break on???
Cos he’s got no pace to break with
Soooooooooo Slooooooow. They need to find some extra pace.
That Russian feller might do the trick jamie, has to be better than what we’ve got tonight.
Think it’s beer o’clock lads. Watching this sober is going to be painful.
This is embarrassing. We’re being took apart by these lot. Second to every ball. Second in every tackle. No bollocks any of them.
Looks like they’ve got us sussed... close us down the left immediately... and let Hibbert come as far forward as he likes
I’m better than what we’ve got tonight Gavin. That should have been penalty number 2.
God the ref seems to be our best player!
"... and let Hibbert come as far forward as he likes "
LOL classic
Anyone else having problems with the Everton.tv coverage? mine is awful.
Do you think lescotts trying to tap up Mikel and the Yak??????
Rodwell looks like a man playing in a team of kids, not the other way round
This looks like our team are scared shitless
ok, so without everyone going apeshit crazy with rage, objectively speaking, what are we doing so wrong.
Clearly its going to be a long slow start to the season but it’s not a case of sell the lot and start again.
Realistically is it a tactical thing? A pace issue? The missing personnel?
all of the above?
and more importantly, what does(/should) Moyes do about it?
Judging by the the size of the Yak he has been Tapped up all summer!!
Ref did us a favour. think Fella fouled their lad in the area. I think we’re doing ok, starting to pass the ball around ok. Clearly lacking a cutting edge, but the other lot don’t seem up to much.
Didn’t we buy Gosling to play rightback. He has to be better than that balloon and why are we only playing one striker against these. We should be looking to put the game out of reach.
Viv - we are giving the ball up too easily. It’s a combination of the lack of confidence from the players and the hoofball tactics we seem to deploy when up against it.
In my opinion anyway...
David Moyes...Please, please, please take Cahill off and put Jo or Vaughan on. Sigma are easily coping with the single striker & Cahill’s offering nothing to midfield.
Saha 1-0. Against the run of general play.
Knowing me knowing you... SAHA!!!
THANK GOD WE KEPT SAHA, OUR ONLY DECENT STRIKER!
SAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Mebbe you lot will stop moaning now....(okay we were crap for the most part before the goal).
Fellaini cross to Saha, tucked in from close range 1-0
Get in!!! Good work by Hibbo(!) on the right, quality cross from Fella, class finish by King Louis!!
GET IN!!!
Lets hope that givrd the lads some sorely missed confidence.
Bollocks.......we scored. I was about to slag Saha off
Get in Louis lad, though I read it on here before I saw it on Everton TV!!! Must be lagging
"Mebbe you lot will stop moaning now....(okay we were crap for the most part before the goal). "
LOL
Hibbo deserves a bit of credit there after the mauling he’s had up to now from some
Felli always wants 4 touches when one will do.
I would love to break that horrible Kilingon Jaw of Lescott, let’s see him arrogantly chew that gum then!
Lescott looking fairly disintereted in the stands. Perhaps it shows a certain chracter to have showed up at all though?
What a goal!!!!!!!!RODDERS
Showed up, I think he was ordered to do so by Moysee and quite rightly so.
Great shot Rodwell (thanks to Lescott for not playing)!!!
RODWELLLLLLLLLL!!!! 1ST ON THE TEAMSHEET EVERY WEEK!

COME ON!!!!
2-0 Rodwell from distance. Keeper was shocking...
Fuck.....I was about to slag off Rodwell.
Get in Rodders!!!!!!!!11 Looked class all night.
See what a goal can do, they look different players.
Just don’t concede now, settle down.
Should be 2-1. How did they miss that
I thought Hibbert was picked cos he could defend?
Lescott all smiles at the start. Anyone seen him since?
Who are you about to slag off now Ged?
Ged, just get ready to slag off Tiny Tim, then give Hibbo a roasting!!
Did anyone see Lescott celebrate those goals?
Right I’ve had enough. I tried to slag off Saha and Rodwell and they scored before I could post it. .
I friggin hate Cahaill and Osman and Piennar.
There.
Lescott, sat there like James Fucking Bond, cunt. Well paid lazy cunt.
A rather flattering scoreline.
No one has slagged off Lescott in the ground tonight...not sure whether we are great fans or a butch of fucking softies...i’d side with softies!
Wasn’t too happy the lazy way Cahill went off at 1/2 time !
Worth slaggin’ off ?
This scoreline is very flattering, but as long as we can keep a cleansheet, it will be a massive confidence booster.
Gavin...perhaps wise. He may stay.
Why are we being linked with central midfielders when Rodwell looks fuckin immense!!!
If Fabregas can be the focal point of Arsenal at 19 why can t Rodwell be that for us???
This boy is gonna be an absolute gem!
Yes, we need a good result before Burnley...they must be floating amongst the stars right now.
Oh, and Rodwell needs to calm down lest that highwayman running Citeh comes in for him.

Great work from Osman and Hibbert to work some space for Fellaini to cross for the first goal.
Good strike but slightly lucky from Rodwell for the second, Should calm the team down now.
Lescott was shown a few times looks like he interested in the game hopefully thinking id love to be out there.
Best link I've found is http://atdhe.net/8601/watch-everton-vs-olomouc
I pray City bid £24million for him. Lescott has shown which side his bread was buttered on. The Shitty side. Buy Steven Taylor, Robert Huth, Alan Hutton and David Bentley and forget the shithouse like we forgot Rooney, Barmby, Jeffers and Xavier.
Well half time and the scoreline flatters us. Two well taken goals. Rodwell looks to be our most settled player head up and in the right place most of the time always looking to receive a pass and his distribution is better than the rest. Ossie again is poor can doubt his effort just does not do it and cant see the simple pass. Saha looks skillful and sharper than I’ve seen him for a long time.
Sigma look quick and confident they are not a great team but we are making them liik good. break well and our defence looks shaky at best, not what we are used to!
Hope for a better performance in the second half and a couple more goals to put a bit of distance between us for the return leg!
COYB’s
Just a Q to fill in 1/2 time.
If we win tonight, win on Sat and buy three moderate unknown players.....will we be optimistic again ?
I think numbers would give us more confidence Ged. However, insted of just filling shirts like we did last year (Castillo, Jacobsen) we should buy for the long haul.
Nervy start by all, to be expected really. Baines a Pienaar looking like last year. Saha looks sharp but really needs a partner up there.
Osman to be fair is having an ok game. (don’t shoot me!!)
Everton TV is fine. Actually its a lot better than I expected.
I think its interesting that JL is in the stands, maybe his attitude is changing. If it isn’t, I hope he isn’t trying to tempt arteta and the Yak on a move!!!
Bring Jo on for the big fella and lets get 6!!!!!
Ged you are havin’ a laugh, this site optomistic! There’s more chance of Sparky getting a crimbo card off Mr & Mrs Moyes.
Fair point Marc but I live in hope
Ged,
If we win tonight, win on Sat and buy three moderate unknown players.....will we be optimistic again ?
If we win tonight and on Saturday, then I would imagine that BB will tell Moysie we’re doin’ fine and don’t need to strengthen!
Chill out now and play nice football. Saha looking good.
Why hasn’t Moyesy got his ’Europe’ suit on tonight, or is that just for the away games?
"Gavin...perhaps wise. He may stay. "
I think you are right mate BUT he needs a bollocking. I’d say give him shit and then back off and let him play. Just like my school days at home! :-)
Gerry, I think you have hit the nail on the head there.
Come on...that was good football.
Just in case....I hate Cahaill
How many times is the ball going to be played into the space behind Hibbo.
Just that last bit then. Could you imagine Jo running back AND winning the ball like Saha just did?
Dont shoot the messenger but.............. We all think Roger has asked to go for the money, but is it worth looking at from a different point of view. He has seen us finish 6th, 5th and 5th in the last 3 seasons, and then watched our lying, cheating saviour BB sit down and do nothing to improve our team, he has seen the lack of ambition displayed by the club and thinks it is time to go. Just a thought, as I said don't shoot the messenger!
I hope Sparky’s not watching!

What a beauty!!!!
COME ON!!!
What a goal what a talent!!!! lol :-)
Oh, my lord ... what a strike from Rodwell!!!!!!!!!
3:0! Rodwell, what a lad!
What a star in the making, cannot drop him after this game.
Close that bloody transfer window now!
RODDERS!! (Shitty’l bid for him in the morning... gobshites)
The ref and Rodwell playin’ a blinder!!!!
Rodwell you arse! You’re in my Fantasy Footy team, why are you scoring 2 goals in Europe!!!
Fellaini?! Good god...and as for the commentators....This is not Jack Rodwell’s European debut. AZ Alkmaar away i beleive.
3rd penalty they should have got.
Two goals up, and yet I’m still nervous. Typical, ha, ha. Be nice to see us push on and knock in another couple for a change . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . then a Rodwell rocket settles my nerves. Fantastic!! Good link online at http://www.magedtv.net/ch1.html
Shit...I was about to say Rodwell was resting on his laurels.
Hope Everton luck has not struck down Rodwell...sub him off please.
Ged, what are you about to say next?
Sean.....it’s that Fellaini I hate
How many times does Ozzie give the ball away?
Sean, you’re only a messenger if you’re carrying someone else’s message. Somebody shoot the fucker.
It would be a waste playing him at the back, surely...?
Second half much better than first. First half we were lucky to lead but much much better since the break.
Just shows, when we are relaxed we can play some good stuff.
It has to be Neville right back and Rodwell holding in midfield
To be fair, if this was a Premier League game, they might’ve had 3 penalties.
Fella has got away with murder tonight.
Anthony, if Neville is RB and Rodders holding the Midfield, who is playing along side Joey?
Why do we have to be 3-0 up before we start looking like a half-decent passing team?
Sean....Steven Taylor...apparently.
It has to be the longest 48 hours in history!!
Sean Joyce, I am not taling about tonight, I mean when we replace Klingon!
Unlucky Ossie lad!
That would have shut a few people up.
Brilliant! That is class striking!
Saha pure class. Easily Man of the Match.
Bring on Baxter!!! :-) loving it
4-0...Davey can let Lescott captain the reserves for the away leg...
Loved that!! Man City can take Jo back too! This looks good if we are looking for new players.
Oh for fucks sake. Busy writing a vitriolic slag-off of that shit head Saha and he fucking scores a beauty.
Bollocks
That’s what you pay your money for, world class technique.
4-0 up and I’m a nervous wreck every time they are in our half - what is it about freakin Everton?
Still hate that Fellaini...
Peanuts played well tonight, still a little lightweight but a great engine. Jesus, I’ve turned into Ron Manager!
Hibbert played ok 2nd half - did I just type that?
Hibbert has looked a different player second half. Much more confident on the ball.
Excellent second half.
Gavin, Garry, don’t praise Hibbo too much - Sparky’ll take him instead of Klingon!
Mac
It’s a game of two halves.
It’s all about confidence.
If you play in a triangle and miss the wing back you will always be behind the back four in the zone.
Starting line up vs Burnley anyone? Banega? That Russian bloke? Taylor?
Much better from the lads tonight but Timmy has been very quiet! As for Hibbert? He’s like the white Cafu bombing up and down the wing!
4 in 3 for Louis. Great stuff.
Excellent display by Rodwell, Osman and Saha. My MOM however is Neville, for keeping our defense fairly solid.
Next time he pops to wales I’ll have a quiet word and ask him to pay 20m for hibbert and leave lescott alone! :-)
Its nice to see though, he gets a lot of stick.
0 goals from the players that started the game against Arsenal... did Moyes get it wrong on Saturday?
How much better does Ossie look in the middle????
That’ll do nicely. let’s be honest, the other lot were shite, but a goof 4-0 home win is what we needed. Let’s hope we can take that positivity into the league now and that lescott sorts his head out (or we get a good price and some players for him)
Would imagine that Ossie and Hibbo are both short of more than confidence if they read this website!
No confidence at the start - 1st goal settled us down - looked a different team then on. Lets push on a twat the Burnley on Sunday.
MOM - Got to be Rodders.
Marvellous
4-3. What a game 2nite!
Bring on the 2nd leg! :)
Only thing that annoyed me?
Fact I managed to get a better feed from IRAQ GOALS 2nite than Everton TV??!! lolz
I hope they received my Everton TV cancellation the other day. I don’t need it.
Well, that was certainly better....started off poor but picked up as the game progressed...
Special praise must go t Hibbert, Neville, Rodwell, Saha, Yobo Baines and Jo looked better when he came on..
The others played a decent game too..although I’m becoming increasingly worried about Fellaini...But after that I’m more nthan willing to bear with him.
A mood lifter. Well done boys.
A classic game of 2 halfs! a much better second half performance and 2 more as i requested. The boys all looked more at the races in the second half and Sigma visibly tired allowing us to stroke the ball around with a little more time and accuracy. Rodwell and Saha both looked class acts and the usual good shift put in down the left. Hibbo played better second half and seemed to regain a little confidence (he does a good job against the lesser teams IMO) Again Ozzie was poor and Cahil Quiet but not in his best position. Felli grew into the game and looks to have learned a thing about when to stick his foot in in the middle of the park. Could have cost us a penalty though! Over all a great result for our boys to take over there and a confidence boost ahead of the Burnley game.
COYB’s
Well done boys, a fantastic second half. Rodwell is the future, and finally a player who can smash a moving ball goalwards from 30 yards. Pure class!
Just to side track, Banega played for Valencia earlier today for their European tie. Even if we manage to get approval for his work permit, doesn’t that mean he’s cup-tied?
A bit off topic but I just googled Stephen Taylor and according to Wikipedia he is now an Everton player for £10 million?
If there is a player in the Everton squad worth £30mil it is not Lescott!
Cue.. Rodwell!!!
Can anyone possibly think he has not done enough to earn a start this weekend?
Bloody Hell! that was better.
I know there are some big ’ifs’ coming here but if we do get a decent Centre Back (Taylor), a fast right winger (Bystrov) and a passing holding midfielder (Banega) in the next week then - 2 months too late - we will have significantly improved the team.
I thought Rodwell looked ready for a first team place tonight, Fellaini looked good on the ball, Saha showed real class and Pip did well as a centre-half.
I also think DM was totally vindicated in leaving Lescott out.
Given their result against Man Ure Burnley becomes a decent test whether this was an average result against a poor team or getting our show back on the road.
What a fuckin relief like. Don’t forget lads, that had Neville done his duty back there and kept a tight ship, we would not be celebrating such a score line. Let’s make this a glorious week by getting Benenga, Bystrov and some defenders. COYB! Well played Moysey!
Leon Osman and Tony Hibbert were outstanding (second half) and some of 1st. I'm sick of seeing people do nothing but come on here to slate them both. Hate me for it but I will name and shame Tony Marsh, his article was pathetic and uncalled for a few days ago, the way he described the Board, Moyes, Hibbert and Osman was unbelievable.
I ain't just saying this because of one game, there have been countless games where Osman and Hibbert have played like this, the problem here is that a few people on this site just blast out a load of rubbish when we lose, and the 6-1 thrashing we got proved this.
Think about what you are saying before you speak... Well played lads top result, Everton TV is worth it by the way if anyone was thinking of buying.
Missed the game playing footy (we won 4-0 too!) Anyone any idea where I can see the goals without signing up to the OS?
In fact I apologise, Tony Marsh, you have done some decent articles but I was upset to see what you put.
Spot on Callum - boo boys, what possible benefit do you think its giving the lads when you’re on their backs the whole time? Even if they’re having a stinker of a game, their performance isn’t going to improve with a couple of thousand people calling them shite! And lay off Fellaini as well, he looked quality at times last season.
Good result regardless, was a little bit worried after the start. Needless to say, Rodwell was immense. But how good is Louis Saha looking at the moment, I really hope he can stay fit!
Imagine this: Arteta pulling the strings with Rodwell operating as a ’box to box’ midfielder. Cahill Fellaini and Pienaar supporting Saha up front.
Cant wait til he is back!!
Add to that the back four of
Gosling Jagielka Neville (c) Baines
Rodwell for me was very hit and miss and frustrated the hell out of me tonight. One minute great, the next awful.
We started very bad and even from the TB you could see they should have had a penalty, quickly followed by a lucky challenge by Howard. We did ride the storm and scored some great goals.
One final note. Does Osman ever go forward with the ball these days?
Let's remember who we were playing
I am not slating Osman, I really didn't understand some of his decisions.
What a difference it makes when Neville isn’t played in midfield. Tonight we had a young man who can tackle and pass in the middle, constantly looking to play probing passes. Added to that the ability to strike at will from distance his presence transformed us. Neville put in a good shift at the back, frankly I’ve no problem with him in a defensive role at right back. However, theres no place for him in the middle.
Fellaini is still struggling with his fitness but he really will be a presence for us sooner rather than later. Pienaar was excellent yet again. Saha though was outstanding. I questioned his signing not in any way surrounding his ability more so because of his fitness. He’s recently stated he hasn’t felt so fit in years, lets hope so. The guy is pure class and can literally dig a goal out of nothing. I’d really love to see Cahill just behind the striker though he’s wasted in a deeper role. Would have loved to have seen Gosling given a start he’s lively and is always looking to create.
Just got back from the match, We were not great at the start as i expected given saturdays performance and all the goings on. But once we scored we were in control. Saha & Rodwell shone. While Hibbert had a much better game. Onc eOsman went into the middle for the last 15 mins he was much improved confirming what we already know. He isnt a wide player. The only dissapointment on the night was once again a poor game by Fellaini,
Rumours on numerous sites before the match say Sky Sports News was reporting we were ready to sign Steven Taylor. No more updates as far as I can see....... If it was one of these posts, someone who knows someone saw him at Finch Farm I would not bother getting my hopes up.
Sky however have good links but I've been watching Sky Sports News now for the last 2 hours — no news on Taylor being reported... anyone else with news???
Good game for the lads to get a few demons out of their game. We could easily have gone into a terrible downward spiral if one of those early penalty shouts had been given, but nice to see the whipping boys Hibbert, Ossie and Pip do well, Rodwell and Saha... jesus, just stay fit you two.
What is getting me though, is how much people are slagging off Felliani, he’s a young lad, not fully fit, but doesn’t hesitate to get involved and look for the ball, nice assist for the goal as well. Compare that to our talisman Cahill's games of late, anonymous apart from giving away free kicks and handling the ball. Not his natural position? Well then, lay off Ossie as that’s not his either.
Anyway, finally a happy morning to be an Evertonian; I couldn’t give a flying shag about Lescott this morning. And thanks to whoever is behind Iraqgoals, great stream last night, although (was it Ratty?) the Evertonian commentator is as sour about are team as the rest of us... laugh. Off to work smiling for a change. Well done EFC last night.
Good harrying team, Sigma though, surprised me their speed and workrate.
